The new DJI Mic colors weirdly remind me of Impressionist paintings

Last week I was looking at the DJI Mic Mini 2 and honestly ended up spending too much time staring at the color options. The art-inspired shells come in four colors, and two of them really stood out to me.

One of them immediately reminded me of Monet's Impression, Sunrise. The soft blue and purple tones with the warm orange mixed in gave me the same early morning harbor vibe. So I put them together just for fun to see how it would look.

Then the black and gold version made me think of Turner, especially the Fighting Temeraire. Same kind of dark shadows with warm gold light across the water.

Maybe I am completely reading too much into it and the designers were not thinking about paintings at all. But the colors genuinely gave me that impressionist painting feeling for some reason.

Did anyone else get art or painting vibes from these designs, or am I not the only one who really likes these colorways?

Does anyone else always buy something right before a new version comes out? What usually goes through your mind when that happens?

I bought the DJI Mic 3 back in March and honestly thought I was set for a while. Then the Mic Min 2 shows uo not long after.

Always end up in these awkward situations where I finally decide to buy something and new product comes out right after. Part of me immediately starts thinking the newer one must be better. Anyone else run into this with tech products?
