give my ex space or try to rebuild the relationship 28F, 29M — together for 2 years

28F, 29M — together for 2 years
My boyfriend and I have been together for around two years. The first year was a casual relationship, and since February, we became officially committed. For the most part, our relationship was beautiful, although we did have quite a lot of arguments and fights.
About a month ago, we had a major fight, and I said some things that really hurt him. After that, he decided to end the relationship. I was devastated and kept asking him to give me another chance. I told him that I was willing to work on myself and change the things that were hurting our relationship.
He says that he is completely emotionally exhausted and that he no longer has feelings for me. Yesterday, after I asked him to meet me, we finally met. He cried a lot and explained how deeply my words had hurt him. I told him again that I wanted to work on our relationship, but he said he isn't ready and that I should move on.
I've also spoken to three astrologers, and all three told me that there will be a reconciliation between us in the future.
I'm struggling to accept the breakup because I still love him and genuinely feel that our relationship could potentially be repaired. At the same time, I don't want to pressure him or make things worse.
For people who have experienced something similar, how did you handle giving an ex space while still having feelings for them? Did giving them space eventually help you get clarity about whether the relationship could be rebuilt?
I'd really appreciate hearing about other people's experiences.
