Hi,
I'm driving to France from Northern Europe next month, so I'd ordered an Octopus Electrocard for EV charging.
I was on the phone while opening it and stupidly must have thrown it away! Easily distracted? :D
I did find the letter in the trash, but not the card, but the card's code is printed on the letter, and I've added it to my Electroverse app.
The question is: Do I need the physical card, or can I get by by using my phone for the same thing? Either RFID or by activating the actual charger point through the app.
I'm stupid. Ok?? I admit it :D
I cannot for the life of me work out how I can reach that purple hex. I lost my entire last cycle due to ending up making settlements around it, but never being permitted to actually build next to it. That's what I want, right? Any advice? General and specific to this particular case.
Hi!
Edit: I've got a lot of great replies. I don't need any further. Thank you to the community for helping me get a deeper understanding of the mechanics. There are so many tradeoffs with this game. Love it :D
I've got almost 250 hours into the game, but it's been a while since I played the 200 first ones, then I picked it back up. Never read any guides or anything, so I have some questions for you guys who are more knowledgeable. Would love some advice.
I have a thousand such questions, but let's leave it at this.
I see people are writing P20 etc.. I didn't even know what it meant :D I play on veteran at the moment, but I see Prestige 1 and 2 now, so I get it. You guys must be seriously optimizing in order to win.
Hi,
I bought this game in November 2022, and have been playing it on and off ever since. I absolutely love it. Not watched any videos or read any guides, just follow my own experience.
When I fire it up, I listen to music, and just really zone out. Probably my favorite city builder of all time. Or economy builder or whatever.
But I want to bring up a point, see what others think. The big problem with the game for me, is a distinct lack of purpose. As much as I enjoy it, I don't know WHY I keep building these cities. What is the purpose of the game? What am I playing towards? I get +50 experience. More buildings in my catalogue that I am ever more unlikely to be able to use in-game. Because the more buildings you unlock, the less chance it becomes you will actually receive the blueprints, right?
I hope the studio behind the game made enough profit that they want to keep making games, and makes a sequel that builds on the many many things that are just perfect with this game, but adds more meaningful progression and a solid feeling of purpose.
Would like to hear what others think.
