Been really getting into Edison the last few months, most fun tcg I've played yet. Our community is trying to get a point-based retro league together with prizing, so I thought I'd draw a banner to make it more official.

Big update from Modified Goat! There was a change in leadership, but there's still plenty of people wanting to keep the format alive. Now, mGoat has its own discord:
There will still be monthly tournaments, hosted on the new discord.
There's also been an overhaul to the banlist, just one month after the last update. I've highlighted the changes from regular goat in red while everything marked as "new" has been changed from the June mGoat banlist.
Curious to hear what everyone thinks of this one! It sounds like as long as the meta's healthy, this list will be around for ~6 months. All of the reasoning for banlist changes can be found on the discord, if you're curious. Happy dueling!

Modified Goat (also known as mgoat) just got a new banlist! I've highlighted the changes from regular goat in red. Disclaimer, I have nothing to do with the creation of the format or what is on the banlist, and I certainly still love regular goat, but I do think mgoat is super fun. The creator of the format, top goat player, Puy, wanted to create a meta that's even more of a test of skill and additionally has the potential to grow and change. As I understand it, the banlist will rotate by design under the guidance of a panel of top players to keep things fresh and it's certainly a work in progress.
My locals have been playing mgoat for the last 3 months and we've really been enjoying the diverse meta so far, though. This new banlist certainly shakes things up a lot, I'm excited to see what decks rise to the top!
