I uninstalled Overwatch because of the LW changes

I know no one will really care, but I'm making this post anyway.

Lifeweaver was my main, literally one of the few heroes that I played and I thought was fun.

He was finally in a good place for about a month, but I guess Lifeweaver is not allowed to have above a 50% win rate.

The double nerfs with no compensation buffs just feels so bad, especially because they haven't even changed the cancel button from Jump, which is beyond stupid.

And then Blizzard thinks that JPC of all heroes needed buffs.

I'm done. They took the one hero I enjoyed playing and took away the one thing he was good at.

I have a backlog of games I need to finish anyway, so now is a good excuse to play them.

It's been fun while it lasted y'all.

Power tease in Mililani

Anyone else in Mililani have their power restored around 8:10pm, just for it to go out again? And then it happened again. Now we're still without power.

😭😭😭

EDIT: Power seems to have come back on at 11:00pm here in Mililani.

Question about the finale ending song (spoilers)

So the ending song used in the finale episode is Bad - U2. But when I look up and listen to the song on Youtube, it doesn't sound quite the same as the version they use in The 100. Is it a special version of the song?

Where to watch the World Cup final on Sunday that's not in town/Waikiki?

Just wondering if there's somewhere that will be open that early at 9:00am on Sunday somewhere close to central Oahu. I'd love to watch the World Cup final with a group, but I'd really rather not have to drive all the way into town/Waikiki.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Compulsive lip biting as a side effect

Hey there all,

I started taking 150 mg XL for about 3 weeks now. It's been working great for me in terms of getting me out of bed and getting things done, however the worst side effect for me is dry lips, and in turn compulsive lip biting. It's been driving me crazy. I don't want to stop taking it though.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Do I just need to constantly apply lip balm?

Went to go fill up my water bottle, passed by a regular teacher who has like 15 students in their room. They have a KAREOKE set up, with students singing. I'm like...how? Why? My introverted ass could never.

I'm sitting here alone in my room and I'm loving it.

To those teachers hosting kareoke in their rooms during lunch, kudos to you.

So I know a lot of people on this sub like to vent their frustrations, but I think there are a lot of good things about subbing that go unmentioned or taken for granted. Let's talk about them.

  1. Getting to sit down (at least in middle school/high school) / no physical labor.

  2. Flexible work days. If you don't feel like working, you don't have to.

  3. Short work day comparatively (6 hours vs 8-9 hours for other jobs).

  4. Connecting with your community/students.

  5. Easy days when the kids just have study hall.

What are you thankful for?
