I finally got my Charmcaster from Shimmer Hollow in the mail yesterday and got the chance to play around with it. I research everything before I buy it and didn't see a ton of info on the Charmcaster out there so I'd thought I'd post this video in case anyone is curious about it.

I ordered directly from their website and did the choose your own bundle, so I got the whole set with the glass bead spinner, and the crossroads, ribbon, lightning, and toadstool charms. This is the emerald color.

It is a pretty penny at $50, but I got free shipping so that was nice. I think it is definitely worth the price. It is really well designed and everything fits together so nicely. Putting it back together into the little storage tube makes my OCD brain happy 😂 There are finger pedestals at 5 different heights, and 2 thumb pedestals. You can turn the finger/thumb pedestals around in the nail station depending on if you have long or short nails, which is pretty cool. Everything is labeled.

The glass bead spinner and the charms all work really well. The swatches you see here are all top coated and have been drying for several hours, so there really wasn't any additional dispersion beyond what you see in the video, I was pretty impressed.

All have 2 coats, 2nd coat magnetized for 1 minute, and Sally Hansen red bottle top coat magnetized for 2 minutes. I can't wait to try it out on my nails and see how it works!

Got to a hotel in Tokyo last night, reputable 3 star business hotel. I've never encountered bed bugs but it's a big fear of mine, so I diligently read reviews on multiple sites and didn't see any red flags.

When we arrived last night I did my usual inspection of the bed but didn't see anything weird on the mattress. But then I looked at the top of the head board and found the black smears in the first photo. I freaked out, we left the room and told management and they moved us to a new room. In the new room I did the same thing, didn't see anything weird but then found what's in the second photo on the mattress. The place was just dirty and dusty in general. Again, I freaked out and we left and told management. They were very apologetic and we ended up getting a free refund and leaving.

Management insisted it wasn't bed bugs when I mentioned it. These were the only things I saw but the mattresses looked okay? Idk what to think.

Our new hotel is beautiful and immaculate but I'm worried if there were bed bugs we will spread them? My husband put his backpack on the carpet for a few minutes (bless his heart he doesn't think like me) but everything else was kept on top of a desk. Of course we had our shoes on and our clothes brushed up against the bed when we were inspecting it.

I don't even know if there were for sure bed bugs in there but if there were should I be worried? We were in there very briefly and only did what I mentioned above.

I feel like I captured it as best I could, the blue is so GLOWY 💙 if you're thinking of getting this polish it's totally worth it. This isn't my usual type of color, but it's a stunner!
