Very cool cover. Instrumentally, it sounds like a merge of Machine Gun and Neil Young's Ohio. He must've liked the Isley Brothers medley of it.
Apparently this is just an edit of a longer version he never released but gave to Jimi's estate to release if they wished.
Specifically the 2015 version.
Chief Forever, Envy Me, Ice Age, Ultimate, Underwater, Captain Sea Fonk… so good.
Denzel somehow has an almost nonchalant/monotone aggressive voice here. He somewhat keeps this voice for Imperial but it sounds a lot more refined and instead of casual now.
His voice has such a Three Six mafia sound on here. Especially on Lord Vader Kush II
Their album came out today so I decided to check them out after hearing some things about them.
I think these guys have potential if they can become more original. Chorus to this song is pretty catchy. I just had to laugh at how much this band is ripping Greta. Not even ripping Zeppelin really besides the singer!
”Darker, savage territory”
Song is basically Lover, Leaver
Singer has same guitar as Jake
Bassist has same color bass as Sam
Singer plays behind his back

I read here on SPLRA there's a circulating FM source of this Zwan show. Unfortunately it only links to an audience recording on Archive.org. Does anyone have this that could share? I'm really interested in hearing an FM source of "A New Poetry" because every other source is an AUD from what I could find.
