This man and I have been talking for a month and we have had quite a few disagreements and one that’s come up recently is the fact he’ll ask me a question then when I respond he’ll say “that’s not what you said to me” for example when he asked how long my longest relationship has been and I said 1 year, he goes “that’s not what you said to me I thought it was 3” and pretty much was convinced I was lying. This happened again tonight after he asked me a question I can’t totally remember and when I responded with “I want to be loved” or something like that he says, “you told me you wanted to be lusted over” MIND YOU….i would never say that especially when I’ve dealt with being lusted over and it has taken an effect on me mentally. He’s now convinced I’m gaslighting him and says I just won’t admit I said it.
I’ve been talking to a guy for a month atleast and so far we’ve been on more than 5 dates and have hung out countless times. We’ve had some disagreements about things like me finding out he was addicted to porn and checking out other girls plus his weirdly women centered tik tok reposts, so I stopped talking to him on and off but he’d keep coming back and said he’d rather not loose me and give up all those bad habits so I said ok. I truly am not sure how to feel about him because it sounds crazy but he says he loves me and wants to be with me and spoil me. As you’ve guessed he’s not in a position to truly do so so I have helped out with some things like it he needs food. (He lives on his own and I don’t) and he says that he will pay me back for all the things I do and spoil me when he’s out of a rut but I’ve also been promised these things before. I just also found out he told his mother about how we had an argument about him watching porn which really upset me because it’s a total invasion of privacy and I haven’t even gotten the chance to meet her. I talked to him and he told me he was wrong for that and he’s trying to be more independent but it just makes me not even want to meet her if I have to “prove” myself. I asked him how he felt about me tn and he gave me a voice note because he’s not as good with text as he is with words. The voice note kind of gave off the tone of “his experience of me” instead of how he actually felt about me and my personality all around. Ik we haven’t known each other long but also for all the times we’ve been around each other and talked you’d think it would be somewhat more sentimental or is it just him being a guy.
