I'm heading there soon and wondering what the water temperature has been and the water quality for swimming?

How are CX-5s when it comes to rusting?

And for those who rustproof their vehicles, how is the bottom done considering there's cladding that covers up almost all of the underneath?

I usually rustproof my vehicles, however now owing a CX-5 I'm wondering how helpful it would actually be since the bottom is covered up.

Is anyone aware of marine radio being used/monitored on inland water bodies that are (likely) not serviced by the coast guard?

I've been on lots of fairly large lakes where there's been little to know cell service, and am curious if locals/lodges /marinas have a system where they monitor VHF or other radio means.

I saw one YouTube video of someone who used it with great success. Yet of all the camping videos I watch it has been the only one to use a rug on the outside, underneath the tent.

Makes sense: it protects the bottom of the tent while providing some drainage and separation from the ground.

Has anyone tried this?
