Just finished this masterpiece. This is the best game of all time, and it's not even close.

I finished this masterpiece earlier today. Wow. Genuinely the best game I've ever played and nothing else gets particularly close.

Every single twist blew my mind, and they kept coming! And the more you zoom out, the smarter and more meaningul the plot becomes. It's genius taken at face value as a story, but if you step back and consider that it's a meta-commentary on gaming, on storytelling, in the passion and role of an artist, it's actually genius (and I don't use that word lightly).

I think it is without a doubt the smartest and most complex story ever told in a single piece of media (which to be fair, I will admit that games have a massive advantage over eg movies and books because they can be so deep and you can do so much with them).

The funniest part is I was gushing about this to my friend group and one of them had the nerve to say he thinks BG3 was better.

I just wanted to sing this game's praises somewhere people would appreciate it. I tried to in the main gaming sub but they're too TikTok-brained and CoD-pilled so I was just downvoted.

My friend is moving to Canada permanently (Canadian wife) and is offering me his old XE for cheap as a favour since my Octavia is dying. I'm not going to share pictures of his one exactly to protect his identity but it's basically like this:

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202512078438946 (It's a UK site but that's because I can't find a petrol XE for sale in Ireland)

Same petrol engine, roughly same age and mileage, his is slightly better spec inside and a different colour (grey).

It's in nice condition but he wants €13k for it. Thing is, as far as I understand it Jaguars are shitboxes not actually worth a penny.

I have already budgeted €18k for a 320i around the same age (I don't do the miles for a diesel so won't buy a 320d), so I can afford to turn him down to get the BMW instead. But I want to give it proper thought because €5k is €5k. But am I just going to spend more than that on fixing it because Jaguar engines are properly shite?

I'd kind of got my heart set on the 320i, and I know it's not really a straight comparison because a BMW blows a Jaguar out of the water in terms of both fun and luxury, but it's a lot of money saved so it's making me pause.

He needs an answer soon though because if I don't want it he needs to sell it privately and is leaving Ireland in June.
