HELP!!! blood blisters? life threatening? what do i do?

on august 3rd, cat had mysterious fever and mouth discomfort, and when his fever cooled down i booked an oral exam for him so vets could see what was going on.

i booked it because i visually didnt see anything wrong with his mouth or gums or teeth, and vets upon looking without sedation didnt see anything either.

THIS SUDDENLY APPEARED ON HIS TONGUE AFTER HE WENT TO THE VET FOR HIS ORAL EXAM UNDER ANESTHESIA. NEVER HAVE I SEEN THAT. I TOOK PICTURES OF HIS MOUTH DAILY AND THERE WASNT EVEN A SIGN OF THIS 2 DAYS AGO OR YESTERDAY NIGHT. DID THE VETS JAB HIM IN THE MOUTH????

first and second picture is what the vets “found” fresh blood blisters that they said were caused by him biting his tongue in his sleep?? third and fourth picture is what it looks like now :(, last picture is literally monday night, 2 nights ago, where his tongue looks perfectly normal. also, they didnt end up finding ANYTHING wrong with his mouth besides that. nothing. no source of the discomfort.

i just want answers. what the hell is this? is he okay, will he heal? im terrified and so regretful, i feel so bad for bringing him in. he was literally fine and recovering just to get hit in the face with this. they administered zorbium, dexamethasone, and liquid pain relief for me to take home after zorbium wears off.

im guessing this is a blood blister but im so scared for my baby, i cannot afford anymore vet care after all the diagnostics hes ran. they drained my money. they also said he bit 2 vets, but he is just a bit feisty and was feeling vulnerable :( what are the chances the vets did this? im so traumatized after today.

he is 6 years old, neutered, and was recovering :(

PLEASE HELP. dexamethasone and onisior?

the vet injected him with dexamethasone because he had a fever. they gave him convenia as well. dexamethasone was injected august 3rd at 3 pm. i then noticed his discomfort was coming back so i emailed the vet and they administered robenacoxib today, the 6th.

i SPECIFICALLY ASKED about the overlap between these drugs and the front desk lady said it wouldnt have been administered if it wasnt safe. one google search says it is highly dangerous and may cause stomach ulcers or kidney failure.

it is around 72 hours since he received his shot of dexamethasone. he is the weight between 1 and 2 tablets and i gave him only ONE at 3 pm before doing any further research. the vet even said to give 2. i feel so fucking bad. i shouldve waited another day. hopefully its okay because it was a low dosage for his weight. his bloodwork was good on the 3rd im so fucking scared right now.

what can i do now?? is he going to be okay???? is the vet wrong or did she know it would be safe? please help.

chances of this being calicivirus?

my cat went to the vet on the 3rd because he was hiding under the bed and acting pretty lethargic. symptoms began appearing on the first but i wasnt sure if he was just in a mood. he has been demonstrating a bit of oral pain when eating : dropping food, chewing oddly with tongue coming out, and refusing water for about a day. i got it into him through other methods however. he also has shown a bit of weakness in the legs, being interested in his worm toy but not wanting to chase much. peeing and stools have been okay.

vet diagnosed him with a fever of unknown origin, giving him convenia and dexamethasone. he had a temperature of 105. he has seemed to improve a bit - drinking water from his fountain and eating kibble again.

i had seen the red spot on the bottom of his tongue a few times within the last few days, but i finally got a video of the area under his tongue and there is a red spot there as well that looks like it could he an ulcer. i was terrified of squamous cell carcinoma but i dont think it would cause a fever overnight or appear in 2 spots, he doesnt demonstrate any pain when i touch the space under his chin/throat. and he has started to drink water this morning and eat more comfortably.

he has gotten vaccinated for calici in march of this year, and the only times he might have contracted it would he when he ran outside the night of july 22nd, where ive seen stray cats in our front yard, when he went to the vet on july 10th for another cause, and when i used his bowls to feed cats around the 12th. i washed with dishsoap but google said that wouldnt have eliminated it. the only thing is, i have no idea how long this virus lasts before it causes a fever, the incubation period, or if it can last on bushes/grass. i know vaccines dont eliminate the possibility of a cat getting the virus, and it would explain why he hasnt demonstrated any respiratory/eye issues maybe? like its less severe.

is this likely the cause? should i bring it up to my vet? does he need additional testing or should i just let him heal at home for now? it has been 2 days now ~50 hours since the injections and his condition has improved a bit, but not drastically. he is still hiding occasionally, but isnt extremely lethargic and will respond to my voice and treats.

chances of oral scc in 6 year old cat?

my cat, male, just turned 6 years old, otherwise perfectly healthy, went to a vet appointment and was diagnosed with a fever of unknown origin. i went because he had changed overnight. the previous day he was PERFECTLY fine. next morning, he was hiding excessively and had a lack of appetite + wasnt drinking water when he usually loves it. the only possible symptom i couldve noticed was lip smacking, but it wasnt a lot at all. i dont know if scc is something that transforms this fast?… his condition hasnt really improved since he went yesterday at 2 pm and was injected with fluids, convenia, and dexamethasone.

i pointed out to the vet that he had discomfort in his mouth, he has been dropping kibble, air chewing, pawing at his mouth/face, licking his chest area, shaking his head with his tongue out, and avoiding water. no excessive drooling, blood coming out from his mouth, swelling, or visual masses in his mouth from the areas ive seen - which is everywhere but the super back of his throat and under his tongue. his gums look fine, no redness or swelling - i havent looked at the bottom gums super closely but the vet said his teeth looked nice with only a bit of gingivitis.

his breath smelled foul - like fecal matter - the day of the vet visit but just smells fishy/like his kibble now. i am not 100% it was coming from his mouth, but his breath smells fine since this morning.

i also noticed his tongue was at the roof of his mouth? and was peeking through his teeth. i dont know if this was just because he was dehydrated, or if its a sign.

his flank has also been getting smaller over the course of the last month - i think? time has been funny but i will attach all images here. i have been recording everything.

this being a possibility is my biggest fear and i dont want to think about it, considering the antibiotics are still in action, but i want to know the chances of this being a possibility. i need to know if i should take him to urgent care tomorrow.

mouth lesions on cat - cause for concern?

i am truly stuck and am super anxious about my cats health, so if anyone can offer their thoughts on what they think this is, please do.

first picture is when i discovered left bump on 7/13, it looked like a blackhead. second picture is what it looks like now: swollen bump and shifts between looking raw/pink and darker with a dark red spot. maybe keeps getting irritated because my cat likes to rub his mouth on walls/edges.

third picture is when i discovered right bump on 7/10. fourth picture is what it looks like now. a bit smaller/less inflamed and completely pink/raw color.

last picture is his swollen lip that appeared today. has been there no longer than today and yesterday since ive been documenting everyday.

i am terrified of squamous cell carcinoma. i dont think it spreads/appears this fast (a couple of days), so my guess has been food allergies. weird thing is, after switching him to his normal food for the last few days, the bumps dont exactly look like theyre healing. can anyone tell me if they have seen similar things in their cats? its been a little less than 2 weeks since i noticed the first bump.

after a few vet visits & fine needle aspirate which declared his digital mass was a benign cystic mass, i am really struggling to figure out what this is. a part of me is terrified the vets were wrong and he has scc, but the symptoms of his mouth lesions match up with something allergy related.

he just turned 6 years old, is neutered, a bit overweight, but his behavior has been normal, eating fine and still has a strong appetite.

cat has growing lump on his foot

my cat just turned 6 years old and has had this pink, hard lump on his foot for the last year. he is male and neutered. i havent thought much of it until i searched it up today and the internet says it may be a benign tumor.

it has been growing in size, he doesnt seem bothered when i touch it, and i do not see him excessively licking the area around/on it. he has acted normal: eating, sleeping, drinking water, playing all the same.

i am 18 years old and he is a family cat, but we aren’t in the position to spend large sums of money on vet costs/surgery. i am working on contacting the one we regularly go to right now. if someone could inform me on what they believe this may be, please help i am stressed.
