Pregabalin for system reset?

Has anyone on here actually had Pregabalin work successfully to reset a deregulated nervous system or is it just all a load of rubbish and only works to calm nerves while you take it. My phychatrist has prescribed it but I'm reading just about everywhere that once you stop taking it your back to the original problem.

Anxiety meds

I am torn between trying Buspirone or Pregabalin for my over sensitized nervous system. Every day is a torment of symptoms too long to list. I am aware pregabalin can be addictive but not sure Buspirone would do the job of resetting my baseline. Any positive advice please.

From diazepam to Buspirone?

Has anyone started Buspirone while tapering off diazepam. I am taking diazepam and propranolol (beta blocker) atm for an over sensitized nervous system after very high stress but I think the diazepam has started to loose its effect (is pooping out). Been on these 4 months while waiting for an older adult mental health team appointment (I'm 67yrs old and normally active) . The diazepam is only 2mg twice daily so not a high dose and tbh it's only just about been taking the edge off the worst of the panic attacks. I missed my one night dose of diazepam a couple of nights ago and wow did I know it (had the most weird sensations in my legs, like my nerves were doing a tingling heat). I don't want an antidepressant and have read about Buspirone. Anyone with experience of doing this change?

Electric shock but inside my head??

I get a feeling like a plasma ball shocking inside my head. I'm just taking diazepam and a beta blocker atm for an over sensitized nervous system, anxiety and panic.
