Vaughn Ion Pro Series - Opinions?

Looking for testimonials from anyone rocking the Vaughn Ion Pro series (non-select preferred but pro select also welcome). Specifically pads/blocker/glove, chesty, and pants.

Some questions to get the discussion started:
- How was glove out of the box?
- This is a stiffer pad than Velocity series, how is rebound control compared to stiff pads from other brands?
- Is chesty able to be tucked in pants easily? How is mobility?

Pure Goalie / Goalie Monkey Ship Times

Hey all, looking to order a set of pads from one of the major retailers soon. I know custom orders tend to take around 2 months, but just looking to get a stock set.

Anyone have experience with how long it takes to ship (US-based)? Only have ever purchased in-store or through SidelineSwap so any insight is helpful. Thanks!

How to make up for low GPA in application?

Hi all, looking for advice here.

Background:
- Graduated from semi-target with a degree in Finance (3.15 GPA)
- Currently working as a Fixed Income Trader at a mid-large institutional asset manager (2 YOE).
- Passed CFA L1 this May, currently preparing for L2.

After completing my CFA I would like to pursue an Online MBA or MSF that is flexible enough to complete while still working full-time.

I see my low undergrad GPA as a weak point for a future application. Any advice on how to navigate, or insight into how much it would matter in an application? Would being a CFA charterholder and a good GMAT score make up for this?

Need L2 Mark Meldrum Self-Study Testimonials

Hey all,

Looking for some insight here. I passed L1 this May using Kaplan with a decent margin (1670). I’ve heard not as great things about their L2 package but feel hesitant to switch up what has worked for me in the past.

MM seems to have amassed a cult following and many swear by his ways. I’ve done some due diligence and he seems pretty engaging (much more so than BJ Tolla who runs L2 program on Kaplan). I’d like to hear from some candidates or charterholders on the following:

- What is the MM learning platform like? I know it is heavily video-based, but how are the QBank/Mocks and how do they compare to Kaplan?

- For those who switched from Kaplan to MM specifically: How difficult was the transition and what do you wish you had known before making the jump? Any regrets?

Thanks to all who took the time to read my novel. May we all pass with flying colors and generate superior returns.
