I have some others at the acreage in the safe, mostly for upland bird game and deer, so I don’t have to bother with hauling firearms across state lines, but here’s the contents of my office safe, which is mostly bolt actions and a couple pistols. Ignore my young wife’s attempt at creativity on the wall. That’s getting fixed lol

CZ 452-Mauser K98k - Haenel 6.5x55 - Benelli 12 gauge

It appears to be a Slava “Perestroika” watch from what I’ve researched. It works after I wind it up.

I paid $9 for it but it’s a nice little display piece from a historic era.

I picked this up a warehouse in the suburban Twin Cities approximately 22-23 years ago. I had them pick out a rifle that was in good cosmetic condition, as you could choose which level of milsurp you wanted. I cleaned the ugly shellac off, clean out the barrel, removed the grease, oiled up, added a sling and put away in the safe where it has sat in for 20+ years. I’ve owned around 10-15 Mausers but this is my last remaining one.

This is at the local American Legion..I've got his uniform. He never talked about his wartime experiences but I do know he carried the BAR.
