Transferring from USyd Law to Monash Law

Hi! I’m a USyd Law and Arts student looking into the possibility of transferring to Monash Law and Arts.

My WAMs kind of messed up because I’ve been struggling to keep up with work and uni (😛 Sydney cost of living crisis). I was wondering if anyone knew anything about transferring from another uni to Monash and if they only consider WAM or the best from either your WAM or your high school grades.

How to live like Mitsumi

This might be silly because it’s a fictional character, but Mitsumi is genuinely so inspiring. The little comic about her daily routine was so motivating and I’d love to be able to do things that way.

Would anyone have any tips? If you’ve had any experience with a good routine, waking up early, etc.

What does "mint" mean in slang?

I'm not from Australia and I vividly recall this one time a groupmate just texted "mint" during a text discussion about a final assignment. It really stuck with me, and I didn't understand it in the context. He used the word on its own.

Standout melancholic song from a South Indian film (Cherathukal — composed by Sushin Shyam)

For context, it’s a song featured in a movie about a dysfunctional family (of 3 brothers) just getting by in life and how they take care of each other and those in their life. It’s a really beautiful movie, but one song has stood out in its soundtrack and is stated by many to be the composers standout piece.

The lyrics have to do with a mother singing to her son telling him that she will be his guardian angel (this is to sum things up, but the actual lyrics are a lot more descriptive).

I thought I’d share it here since it’s one of my favorite pieces of all time and is so beautifully melancholic.

Is Mayara/Maiara a good (and atleast somewhat common) first name for a Brazilian character?

I'm working on a female character and am thinking of keeping her first Name as Maiara/Mayara. I wanted to check if it comes off as an unusual name for a character in her 20s, in a story that would be set in present-day time?

The new album has such a new and different feel to it

Some songs have the old MT vibe like difficult love and Malcolm in the middle, but songs like Ain’t that the truth, free.99, and Xs & Os feel quite different. The album has such an angsty vibe to it haha.
