Trust worthy pet sitting company

Hello! Im looking for at drop in pet sitter for my 6 month old kitten when my wife and i go on our honeymoon in october. Ive found some company’s nearby that advertise that theyre members of “Professional United Pet Sitters” http://www.petsits.com and “Member, Professional Pet Sitter Associates Insure By PSA” my question is do these sites mean anything? Im new to in home pet sitting as my dogs always been boarded, but im trying to avoid boarding my cat…because well.. cats dont like it as much.

Edit: i also tried to look them up on these sites and cant find them..but theyre well reviewed on google

Thank you!

8 Hour Layover, Morning trip to Leiden

I have an 8 hour layover coming up in AMS this October. We land at 7am and have in inter-schengen flight at 3:30pm. Ive been to Amsterdam before and wanted to take the opportunity to explore a different city for the morning. Probably will take the change to get breakfast, walk around maybe visit a site or two.

Open to any highlights you'd recommend. There seems to be less threads about Leiden!

Is she ready to free roam

My sweet girl Olive around 13-14 weeks. Shes acclimated to my house well, shes met the dog and they get along fine minus some hissing if she gets cornered by him. We moved her from the bathroom to a spare room where she has her cat tree litter box, toys, food, etc.

Well needless to say she does not feel the need to be cooped up in there and takes every chance to bolt out the door and explore whenever i open it. When i put her back after play time its usually followed by 10 minute of meowing and paws under the door.

She seems like she’s confident enough to explore the house i just have anxiety shes going to get stuck someone or ill lose her. I have cable covers and were moving plants out of reach if theyre not cat friendly. Do i just leave the door open after and let her be? She can always run back to her room.

New kitten playing but still timid

Hey! I brought home my first cat Wednesday, shes a 10-12 week ball of love. Shes more sociable now than when she first came home but she still spends most of her time in her bed. Ill come lay in the bathroom with her where her setup is and she’ll purr like crazy when i pet her, pawing my hand and licking me. Shes still doesn’t come out much though. She likes to do this thing were she comes out, lets me pet her and then bolts back into her bed.

Im assuming this is normal?😅
