Recently got offer for vlsi design mtech program what should to choose as i have seen mnit jpr placement stats is not that good for 2025 batch. Please suggest

Is it necessary to use GPU card RTX3050 minimum in the laptops to cover the entire coursework without getting hardware blockage? or intel core Ultra5 series2 laptops will work fine for the entire course duration with sufficient ram and storage configurations?

Are there any AI ML related task in mtech VLSI coursework that needs GPU or the above configuration will work fine?

1. I want to know whether I can book a guest house room for reporting day purpose and also what documents are needed during the online application on the portal if I am booking as an external candidate without an official NIT J mail id ?
2. Is there any means of communication to reach the NIT J campus from the railway station late at midnight?

Is there any provision for fee refund that I had submitted on nit j website for mtech self sponsored program. I want to withdraw my seat before spot round so that someone else can accept it.

Any one please help in choosing the above courses based on placement information and on campus full time offers probability.
