Third consistent day, but what can I do to improve this routine?

Ever since the regret from last week using the crow caller, I got rid of that after using it for a day. Its been 3 days of doing this now and I want to keep doing this for a long time enough to earn this crows trust to make up. If anyone could help me understand what they think is happening at this stage it would be appreciated.

My routine is:

  1. Arrive at the tree,
  2. Place peanuts and do 3 short whistles
  3. Back up near the sitting area
  4. Stay for 10-15 mins.
  5. Start leaving

Note: Today a crow flew over accompanied by a smaller other bird. Then it flew over by itself to the top of the tree where I think its nest is.

What am I doing wrong?

I layed out peanuts and cat kibble In two separate piles across each other. I even was able to see a few arrive when I did the feeding call on the crow caller whistle . Im minding my own business and they seem to observe from trees mostly but never come down. Is that normal? I dont wanna blow this whistle too much.

please any advice would help i freaking love crows.

Update: Alright judging from everyone's answers it seems the whistle was creating distress calls out making them all stressed out. its seems like its better to do my own whistles or noises. Also keeping my visits short after dropping the food because me sticking around too long instead of trusting them to have seen me is a huge thing. Ty for all the answers.

my only fears: “What if I’m training a routine in an empty area?" mindset after not using the whistle and possibly having ruined any relationship with the crows on my 2nd day. I hope I can still earn their trust.

Hernand wolves (Large wolves) are finally tamable and here's whats changed

Okay so after noticing they added a bigger Hernand wolf next to a smaller one, I could easily tell that was the right one.

1.0.6 had kept spawning two smaller wolves over and over so they couldnt be tamed.

How to tame: Force palm spam until ride option appear, and feed any kind of meat until its yours.

Location: Go left slightly of Howling camp and down to the hill below.

LET US HAVE WILD LIFE AS PETS

The creatures in this game are a HUGE thing right now so letting us tame the ones you grab and do nothing with, would be extremely exciting. Ive been dying to have a trash panda as a pet.

Update: Tysm for the support! Cross your fingers PA sees this and brings more pets soon! Keep your support up!

Update: Judging from how creatively they introduce taming, I would love if we could capture them in something similar like a kuku item and keep an entire storage of them.

Update: We already interact with these creatures, let us bond with them. I'd hate to let go of another chopper or raccoon or be stuck between drowning them or letting them go. Thats crazy lol.

Swift wolves can be tamed

Just letting you guys know they can be tamed spamming force palms (Not triple force palm) until the ride option appears. Then you just feed them tough meat or whatever works.

Still gonna test if other wolves can be tamed.

Why do bandits ignore others on the road but attack you?

I've seen time and time again where I'll walk past a trail of bandits and ill aggro their entire army and their mothers but a freesword or trader walks by theyll completely ignore them. Is there some reason why they attack my ass on sight?

HOW DO YOU CAPTURE WOLVES?!

Ive been trying to subdue them like the patch notes say...they sometimes run for cover or get weak and I cant feed them. Is there a trick to this?

[CA]10 minute battery life on the Neo 2?

I just bought my neo 2 drone alone. I regret not buying the extra batteries now because It only lasted for about 10-12 mins but felt much shorter since I was starting to familiarize myself with the functions. Why is something this exciting such a short battery? I mean what do you even possibly do when the battery dies and youre in the park? Takes forever just to charge back.

This is simply just my take on Kliff after having spent over 200 hours on the game but I feel something “broke” in Kliff after the opening.

So I’ve been thinking about Kliff’s personality and I don’t think he’s just a typical stoic protagonist.

I honestly think something changed in him very early on possibly during the opening encounter with the black bears and the game quietly reflects that for the rest of the story.

Here’s what stands out:

  1. The opening feels like more than just a fight That moment isn’t framed like a normal early game encounter. The tone, pacing, and aftermath feel heavier than expected. It almost comes off like a turning point rather than just a tutorial fight.
  2. Kliff’s emotional detachment feels extreme He’s not just calm he’s consistently distant, even in situations where most characters would react more strongly. It feels less like discipline and more like something is missing.
  3. Other characters react like something is “off” There are moments where allies don’t just respect him they seem unsettled or surprised in a way that goes beyond his strength or reputation. It’s subtle but that adds up.
  4. The loading / transition moments feel symbolic This might be a stretch, but some of the transitions and presentation give off an “in between state” kind of feeling, like the game is hinting at something beneath the surface.

My take: I’m not saying Kliff literally died and came back but it feels like the game is implying a near-death or supernatural shift early on.

Like he survived physically, but something about him didn’t fully come back.

Possible explanations:

- He’s just a hardened warrior

- Trauma from early events shut him down emotionally

I was just curious if anyone else noticed this or picked up on similar vibes?
