​As you know, this space is dedicated to everything related to OWWA scholarships—from answering application questions to sharing real experiences as an ISKOWWA. We want to keep growing this community into a massive, independent platform where we can all connect and support one another freely.

​Why your help matters right now

​Most Facebook groups covering OWWA scholarships are heavily restricted and monopolized by single pages. They use strict moderation to block open peer-to-peer discussion, often just to funnel desperate applicants toward their own ad-heavy websites with copy-pasted information. Because of this, there’s a real lack of a genuine, free-flowing ISKOWWA presence on those platforms.

​We can change that, but we need to actively pull people into a better space. We shouldn't let third-party pages exploit scholarship information for ad revenue when they aren't actually helping applicants through the grueling process.

I am an incoming second-year Biology major, and I want to ask for everyone's help regarding where I can purchase or outsource a MICROSCOPE to use for my academics and laboratory classes so I can enhance my skills in utilizing it.

I just want to ask if there are reputable brands of MICROSCOPES that I should look into and models that are budget-friendly but at the same time have interesting features or are durable.
