I thought it would be fun to use the Digimon picker to figure out my top 6 from each level- And from that pool of 36 create the 6 most cohesive lines possible. Not completely satisfied with any line, but all work to an extent...in my head lol.

In the trailer we see an older Korra definitely with a menacing vibe. I'm guessing there are a few possibilities for it:
A) It's a false depiction and that is not actually how she ever looked- just talked about in this way during Pavi's time due to historical inaccuracies.
B) It's true and she somehow became corrupted likely due to the influence of Vaatu somehow
C) it's true and only appeared she was corrupted - especially due to the end result- but it was really just a misunderstanding and she actually saved the world the most she could
I personally think the Vaatu corruption leading to her death and the start of 2 avatar lines- one through pavi and the other through nisha.
If this happens I'm personally hoping Pavi surprises us and is actually the Vaatu avatar and we witness her actually become a dark avatar.
And if they go this route and we then follow 2 avatar lines- future stories involving different aged avatars having to battle each other leads to some interesting story opportunities

Revavroom represents a week-long event my town is known for.
Xatu loosely represents the town's school mascot, but also an iconic statue that was there for decades.
Wyrdeer represents both the animal and a major location of the town that sounds like its name

I thought it would be fun to give the kids shown at the ends of 02 continued lives from in-training to champion. I tried to stick with more modern picks, but ended up going with a few older ones as well. Tried to pick based on looks of in-training going into rookie- not taking parents partners "element" into account

Kari's Son- Salamon-->Cougarmon (also thought meicoomon could work as his "permanent champion"

Davis' Son - Kotemon - may seem a bit random, but kinda looks like a blue dino underneath
Cody's Daughter - Sangomon
TK's Son - Luxmon - a little on the nose and expected, but still a fun choice different from Patamon
Sora's Daughter - Morphomon
Matt's Son - Kakamon monkey to canine may seem off, but similar color scheme and ear gear seemed like a good fit
Joe's Son - Fujamon - not too happy with champion- not sure who would be a good fit. Almost went with Gasamon, but I wanted a more expressive partner like Gomamon
Mimi's Son- Pomumon.
Not serious- just fun speculation. Would love to get something Canon for this group of kids in the next couple years.

Fun idea I've been trying with- expanding on the little we know about the group ofndigidestined prior to adventure season 1. We saw Maki help Daigo and the other 3 (far left of 1st picture) become the digimon Sovereigns.
I thought it would be a fun idea to explore an additional group of kids that were there at the start of the adventure, but their partners got corrupted by an infected partner (tsukaimon that becomes apocalymon). The 4 infected abandon their partners and become the dark masters.
I changed a couple of the crest colors and added the crest of darkness.
Any digimon fans like this idea?
