Profile switching option?

I have just signed up to MND to log my partners calories as he wants to lose weight. I use mfp and have for about 14yrs.

I really like the look of MND and ease of tracking. However, i dont want to be logging in/out between my profile and my partners, hence why i have MND for him and kept MFP for me.

I know my partner can log his own foods on his phone himself but he basically just wants to know the bare minimum ie is he eating too much in a day.. I prep most of his foods for the work day which are vastly different to what I eat. The only thing the same we eat is dinner

If an option to switch profiles could be implemented then ill make the switch to use MND myself. Would be great to know if this will ever be an option?

I use MFP to track weight, exercise (use apple watch), progress photos, etc and have had it for so long i get the barcode scanner for free (which a lot of the time doesnt work). I just hate the new update and so many inaccurate food entries…

Trainee swim teacher UK

Hi all!! I am looking at becoming a trainee swim teacher if all goes well with a possible interview.

I came to the UK in 2017 so I haven’t grown up and gone through the UK school system.

Is there anyone here that can give me some insight about children’s accessibility to swimming during school years? There just seems to be an incredible amount of children that cannot swim which is heartbreaking and I want to help change this.

I’m 40 so things have changed since I was at school, but we always had access to a school pool and swimming was encouraged. There were school swimming competitions, triathlons etc.

Community pools were/are easily accessible for swim lessons or even as an adult just turning up to do laps whenever you want and it was reasonably cheap to do so with a lot of pool options nearby.

I have found accessing a pool when suits me to do laps mind boggling difficult. Our (local) pool is most of the time blocked off for swimming lessons or classes. Not even 1 or 2 lanes left available for lane swimming…. Otherwise other pool options are available only with a very expensive gym membership.

Any information that someone can give on difficulties both children and adults experience in the Uk would be so appreciated!!

I’m so passionate about everyone knowing how to swim, even just to tread water, I want to be as knowledgeable about the difficulties people face as much as can be.

If I don’t get the trainee swim teacher position, I am still looking to pay and sit the qualifications myself

TIA!!

Had my autism assessment today, now don’t think I am…

I was diagnosed with ADHD combined type last year and the assessor could see signs of autism. I was already on the waitlist for autism anyway

I was my own informant for autism because my mum is in a different country and she had filled in the form but didn’t put much down that could be helpful.

They couldn’t give me a diagnosis because they want more info from childhood. They said my adhd is quite strong so it’s hard to differentiate that and if autism is present (which is kinda good cause I felt like a fraud after the adhd assessment lol). I have more follow ups/tests to do and hopefully family can give more detailed information

Going through the assessment though, im starting to doubt I do have autism. I was always quite social as a kid though I didn’t have a lot of friends. I don’t have special interests. I can tell people’s expressions but not emotions so much.

The reason why I thought autism is because of emotional outbursts/meltdowns/shutdowns but I don’t see any of the other usual autism signs. The emotional side of things is realising can very much be related to adhd.

If anything, I think I have adhd combined + (autism assessor mentioned:) rsd + cPTSD.

I also have anxiety that I have meds for already. Not on meds yet for adhd

Has anyone else thought they had autism but then realised during the assessment they probably don’t?
