This was drawn awhile ago, and in the future Pigma will probably have 3 fingerlike hooves, like he does in the new game.
I don't have a ton of notes, just that I like how the head angle turned out.
Second drawing in my Star Wolf project is Leon Powalski of course. Wolf's ever present right hand man- or chameleon. I love drawing this guy bc I often throw out a lot of my anatomy rules and go by sheer will of shapes alone.
I wanted a full body drawing of him to reference off of for future drawings.
This is also a part of a bigger project with the rest of Star Wolf so I'll probably post those in the coming weeks as well.
I had never drawn team Star Fox despite being a years long fan before this piece.
I also wanted to try my hand at a few of the side characters and bad guys throughout the franchise.
It's meant to be a continuation of this drawing I did of the Andross Empire and Star Wolf.
Star Fox themselves are pretty standard, but I'm starting to define the differences between the different types of animals a little better. I made Tricky and anthro dinosaur to fit in a little better with the rest of the universe.
I wanted the characters to be a little more grounded in reality in their colors and designs. Amanda is a pink green eyed tree frog, which is why she looks vastly different, and Lucy is darker to give her a more realistic color scheme to a hare. I wanted the Angler Emperor to look more akin to a real angler fish, and in doing that I also made them a woman.
The rest are pretty standard after that. Feel free to ask about anything else I failed to mention here. I like talking about my artistic process.
I just wanted to draw some of the dudes hanging out. I had poses in mind that I thought would be fun to draw, so I just ran with it.
I'm imagining that something bad is about to happen at the depot they're near (subordinates being useless idk), and Vilmir is calling attention to it way too calmly.
Like a "picture taken seconds before disaster" type thing.
I also imagine this would be during the prepping phase before the war officially started. They're still working mostly underground so they're not as concerned about getting attacked out in the open and can roam the planets a little more freely without always being at their Boss posts.

And finally Dash is polysexual (the sexual attraction to various, but not necessarily all genders).
Getting a bit more niche here. I personally really like the bosses from Star Fox 64 and draw a lot of artwork related to them. Names are ones I made up (aside from canon names ofc), and the designs are not made with Star Fox 26' in mind, bc I have not played it yet(no spoilers please), and the designs were made in 2022.

Granga is agender and bisexual, and they use he/any pronouns.
Xerxes (The Attack Carrier Captain) is unlabeled in both gender and sexuality, and doesn't have a pronoun preference at all.
Vilmir (the Meteo Crusher Pilot) is polysexual (the sexual attraction to various, but not necessarily all genders).
Bennet (the Shogun Warlord) is bi.
Benjamin (the Forever Train Engineer) is Pansexual and gender apathetic. He uses he/him pronouns.
The Captain (Sarumarine Captain) is aroace.
Caiman is gay.
and Forrestt (the Area 6 Commander) is a pansexual trans man. Forrestt and Caiman are also dating.

I've never read Houseki No Kuni.
But I've been told things in great detail by my sibling, and it makes me very sad to think about. Phos you are so loved. I made this when the final chapter was released. I know a little bit more about HnK, but I still haven't read or watched it yet, so apologies.

I had to wrestle with this piece for a while. I'm trying to get better at drawing characters close together and more intimate. It's harder than you'd expect lol
There's a lot of little details going on in this one. Mostly surrounding the colors and lighting. I put way too much thought into this. It survived a ton if revisions and tweaks.
I also had a draft with them not colored in while I was doing my shading passthrough, and I kind of liked the look of it so I saved it. Lets you see the background a bit better.
I have gotten very attached to taking these 2 and putting them in, situations.
I figured it fit bc the Mogma are treasure hunters by nature, which one could argue Linebeck and Jolene both are. The Mogma are also cowardly and shifty, which describes Linebeck to a T.
I'm now very fond of the designs and wanna draw them doing more things lol
Linebeck is one of the easiest characters to draw for me, so I thought he'd be a good base to focus water coloring.
It was very hard. Big respect to artists that do this regularly, bc this is not easy lol
