5 Days in the Area - How many nights in La Malbaie?

We have 5 full days to explore Quebec City and the area around. We're wanting to do the drive to La Malbaie and see the sights.

We're stumped as to how long we should spend driving to La Malbaie - 1 or 2 nights? We're from Vancouver, love visiting crafters and artisan shops. We wouldn't do a lot of hiking in Quebec but are for sure stopping at that waterfall. Alternately, in the City we want to see all the historical sights, but won't visit every museum.

Anyways, 4 nights in Quebec City or 3?

Looking forward to visiting you :)

Triggers that Surprised You

A few years ago I had been a vegetarian already for months, and then I read online about a surprising food that wasn’t always vegetarian (yogurt). I had been eating it everyday and had no idea!

Learning this helped me a lot, and I thought a similar list would be good for all of us as we hunt down our triggers. These are the weird and wild things that aren’t just histamine levels on a list, they are hidden ingredients and sneaky places our triggers lurk.

I’ll go first:

- Sunshine, who knew sitting in the sun is why my arms hurt so bad (this might also be POTS?)
- Ketchup - still has enough Tomato to be a problem
- Daily Vitamin and B complex - mixed supplements often have fillers
- Black Tea - eliminating this or my daily vitamin removed my massive crash everyday at 4pm. I can do things now after 5pm! I’m also sad in the morning without my tea.

I’m on the waiting list for a MCAS specialist in my area, but my GP cautioned that the wait might be up to a year.

I’m freaking out as I read that the longer this goes untreated, the worse it gets? It feels like my symptoms are getting worse right now, but it could also be that I’m noticing them more.

Anyways, while I wait to meet with the specialist, is there anything I should be doing besides identifying and eliminating triggers?
