Revolut getting in to the lounge business?

Now that revolut has its banking license and no doubt will be creating a credit card to rival Amex platinum, they have now just announced they are rolling out their own lounges too. Do you think finally platinum will have some competition in the uk which will make them improve the benefits even more?

Where to do initial Class 1 medical?

British passport holder so thinking of doing medical for both EASA and CAA considering I won’t have a right to work in the EU? So my thinking is to do CAA and EASA as I may do hour building in the EU or ppl over there? Does that make sense? Or is there a better approach?

Thanks!

Initial Class 1 Medical CAA/EASA

Where is the most reasonable place to do this? For British passport holders, does it have to be done in the UK or can I do in the EU as I know it’s a lot less costly ?
Thanks

Modular Route: PPL (EASA) with British passport

Question is, looking for cheapest route to get ppl in a fairly quick way but I heard the conversion from EASA to CAA is a nightmare? Is it possible to get a CAA PPL in Europe at a cheaper cost or do I just have to bite the bullet and do in the UK?

Is it better to do EASA route or CAA?

I have a Finnish grandmother that I could technically get a passport from if no longer being in the EU is an issue.

Looking at doing modular, currently live in London but open to doing training anywhere really for the best value to training.

Thanks !

Emirates Amex Redemptions

Cannot believe emirates devalued once again down to 2:1 ratio meaning 50K Amex points is now only 25K skywards? While US Amex dropped to 5:4 ratio?

The UK got shafted on this one 😅
