Disneyland Anaheim sued by guest for using facial recognition, DLP uses the same technology

The article claims the Anaheim park is using facial recognition since April this year but I’ve noticed the technology being used at DLP already in June last year, it wasn’t advertised properly and I only noticed because I turned around after getting in to wait for the rest of my party. I got very uncomfortable when I noticed it.
Has anyone else here noticed?
