How would the Civil War have gone differently if William Seward had been President?

As the pre-convention front runner for the nomination, there was a strong possibility of him becoming President. How would he have differed from Lincoln in handling the war?

Car camping in the Mach E

I took my Mach E on a mini road trip from Youngstown to Toledo and camped at the Maumee Bay State Park. We went to go see the ARCA race at Toledo speedway

I was able to make the entire trip on a single charge, though I stopped briefly to add insurance.

The idea was to plug into the campground electric while sleeping. They had a 50 amp, a 30 amp and a 110 outlet. I used my 14-50 to stay hooked up all night.

I purchased window covers made to fit the Mach E. They worked very well except for the rear window. Reviews warned me of this so I brought some tape and taped it in place.

I used a towel to cover the center screens

The air mattress was also made specifically for the Mach E. I moved both front seats all the way forward and had some blow up foot stools that another redditor recommended to fill the gap between front and rear seats. It worked extremely well.

I had a 12v adaptor for my CPAP and it was really nice being able to camp again and still have it.

The one downside: Even if you cover all windows, the LED lights in the interior are still bright. I had an eye mask and used it.

Half way through the night I realized I accidentally had the car on accessory mode which drains the 12v. I neglected to push on the brake while pushing the start button. I still had enough juice to start the car and it went smoothly. I had to turn the 30 minute shutdown timer off again and turn the lights off again

On the whole it was a really great experience. I'm 6ft and the fit was a little tight but not too bad. I wish the seats were a true fold flad, but the elevation isn't awful.

I would definitely do it again. Camping at parks with RV hookups is the move when EV camping. Some parks dont allow it but this one did

Home made cider went dark after putting into secondary fermentation

Is this just oxidation? It was the pale yellow of the left before putting it into secondary and it has gone dark over a couple hours, not immediately, so I dont think its sediment

I want to do the spring upgrade for my 2021 Premium by putting the Rally springs to soften the ride, but the parts guy at my local dealer couldn't figure out which springs or part number they were. Does anyone who has done that know the part number or which specific springs they are?
