Should I buy it?
I'm considering buying it from the seller, who says they can't guarantee its condition or test it because they don't have the necessary tools; it's priced at just $10, and I'm weighing whether or not to get it. A Laser DR30 magnetic tape data recorder (1986)

n introduction and demo featuring a "hidden gem" clip from a Sony handheld camcorder—something you’ve absolutely never seen before!
It was really eerie—it gave me quite a scare. The device had suffered some internal moisture damage, so I was trying to fix it. When I turned it on, this screen appeared: it first wished me a happy birthday, and then suddenly wished me a happy death anniversary. I was really startled.:[

I recently bought a few DV camcorders and have already got them all set up :D
I also have to complain about the ribbon cables in Sony's handheld camcorder series—they break far too easily, especially the ones for the screen and viewfinder, since those parts are foldable :[
Damn, I don't know why my post got filtered out. I don't know if I was banned or not, but the ban was lifted immediately after I appealed. I'm sharing it again.

Compatibility question: Can I use a DCR-TRV22E LCD screen as a replacement for a DCR-TRV33E?
Hi everyone,
I am seeking some help regarding a screen replacement for my Sony Handycam.
The inner LCD screen on my DCR-TRV33E is cracked and leaking liquid (bleeding). However, I have access to a DCR-TRV22E parts machine whose screen seems physically intact.
I would like to ask if the LCD screens/panels (and their touch screen modules) between the DCR-TRV33E and DCR-TRV22E are fully compatible and interchangeable? Can I directly transplant the screen from the TRV22E to my TRV33E?
Attached below are the photos showing the current state of my screen. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!
