*HIGH noise warning* Extremely loud noise when starting some games

Some games such as Starcraft 2 and another indie title make this extremely loud noise when started

The fix I found was to use this "PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winepulse.drv=d;winealsa.drv=b" %command%"

but my problem is that this noise is so damn loud that I'm afraid to boot up new games for the first time in fear that it triggers and wakes up the whole apartment complex

Upon doing some troubleshooting, i found that this applies only exclusively when I have surround audio 7.1 set up in KDE Plasma, by switching it to 5.1 that works but I lose on 7.1 audio

Mouse changing size when hovering over Steam or Discord

See the video, the cursor changes sizes when hovering over steam or discord, i'm on CachyOS with plasma 6.7.1 but I remember i had the same issue when using Fedora

Can this be fixed? I already restarted my pc multiple times after changing the pointer theme but no luck

Easiest way export all KDE settings from a distro and import to another distro

is there a program someone made? are there folders i should copy and then paste into the new installation?

I have a lot of customized settings i would like to easily move

Is this something even something that is safe to do or is there a risk of breaking things?

CachyOS vs PikaOS

I'm currently on CachyOS and things are working perfectly fine, however i'm scared about updates since Arch seems to be 'unstable' and as all things bleeding edge there's always the risk of running into issues, also some things such as configuring automounting of secondary SSDs are unnecessarily complex, it's not like this on other distros

I was thinking about moving over to PikaOS because since it is debian theoretically it is more 'stable', in the end i don't really want to be always on the latest possible version, if CachyOS offered an option to stay updated to a few version behind I would go for that immediately. but as it is right now whenever I update I must go to the latest version that CachyOS pushes.

But at the same time PikaOS seems to be a smaller and less used distro so i would be going into something even more niche than CachyOS.

What does the automated backups contain exactly?

In particular I have Nextcloud app setup in homeassistant, I keep all my photos in there and I'm planning to sync the homeassistant backups to my desktop in order to have an extra copy of my important photos, therefore, i ask:

If the drive on homeassistant fails, can I be safe in knowing that the automated backups i saved on another drive can recover all my photos along with all configurations i had in homeassistant?

Boxes virtual machine, can't use 3D acceleration

I want a virtual machine with Ubuntu and 3D hardware acceleration, the VM works just fine and has spice-agent installed (i even get the autoresolution changing when i change the window size) but when I enable 3d acceleration it looks like the screenshot, the only way the VM is usable is without 3d acceleration, I tried many different VM distros such as Fedora, opensuse and many others but i get the same exact bug

AMD RX 7900xt

AMD-V enabled in Bios
