How do I turn off the bird sounds
They're starting to annoy me. I'd prefer just having the stock gnome system sounds.

Tried the gnome Nvidia iso, puzzlingly didn't seem to have a way to adjust backgrounds to fit the screen rather than fill them.
Tried the KDE version, won't even connect to the WiFi, doesn't have the secret or something. Apparently I have to set up KDE wallet, which isn't part of the setup instructions. The wallet/manager doesn't seem to accept anything.
Skip connecting to internet, set up user account.
Come back to it a day later to try a fix, won't even let me sign in with pikaos user account (which should be blank) or my user account.
So far, my expected Linux experience.
Edit: Thanks for all the answers.
I've been researching different distros, and I have a couple of questions about PikaOS.
Good afternoon?
I downloaded the ISO from the website, and when I try to start it, it works until the login screen and then doesn't log in.
I try use Niri and KDE ISO and both have the same result.
I want to test PikaOS on Oracle Virtualbox, but it doesn't want to cooperate. System shows the following error:
>No bootable medium found!
Please insert a bootable medium and reboot.
I have tested Niri and GNOME images, and it happens on both.
Get these messages when trying to load iso from grub menu
Like PikaOS is basically the Debian equivalent of Fedora's Nobara distro kinda simliar to how CachyOS is basically the Arch equivalent of Nobara.
Anyways this is easily my favorite debian distro
it ships with Kde Plasma by default just as i like and it's gaming focused + a whole lot of other things i like
So I was trying to install Navidrome with docker and the server could not recognize the music files in my HDD so I try to give it full access so it could find it. After hours of trial and errors it was recommended that I mount the HDD on boot up. Now my computer can’t have access to my HDD for some reason, what do I do?

Finally someone has stats to show pikaos has equivalent and in one game 1 fps better performance than cachyos.
I get more fps and a better, more stable, more polished experience using regular ass Ubuntu than CachyOS, supposedly a "optimized" distro.
Like, bruh, actual snake oil.
Hi, I got this annoying white window everytime i log in to desktop. And on the top right it says Xwayland Video Bridge _pipewireToXProxy. Little bit annoying every log in. how do prevent it from popping up?
::edit::
I use PikaOS Niri BTW
Hey everyone. Just found out about Pika OS and I have to say I love what i’m seeing so far. The only downside is: I can’t seem to get my Belgian Azerty (.be) keyboard layout working.
I have followed the instructions on the PikaOS website telling me to remove the default conf file and install kbd and kbd-data.
When I want to set my keyboard layout to be (sudo localectl set-keymap be) it says the keyboard layout is not found. If i try .fr it does accept that entry. But even after rebooting nothing changes and they keyboard is still qwerty (even though in /ect/vconsole.conf it says it is set to .fr
any ideas what i’m doing wrong?
PikaNoob (Edit: i’m using Hyprland)
Hi, i need some people to send me photos of pikaOS when downloaded whitout touching anything yet, i wanna know how it looks before installing
I'm not new to flashing an iso
I tried on Windows with rufus, and android (graphrneos) with etchdroid
Ive tried with 3 different usb drives. Two 3.0 and one old 2.0
I redownloaded the iso 3 times as well.
BIOS is not seeing it. The drive is never readable on any OS, and each OS just recommends formating.
Tried plugging it in to 2 headless debian laptops, windows and androidnafter flashing the OS.
Grabbed a debian iso for shits and gigs and flashed it to 2 of the drives with no problem.
Really want to try this OS out
ISO version:
PikaOS-Nest-NVIDIA-GNOME-4.0-amd64-v3-26.04.04-1.iso
Also, no AV on windows or android. And downloaded with FF or FF forks.
