Finally about time a ghostface more hated than Jill Roberts....but is this really the case? I believe marco has more fans than Jill

We know jill is the most hated character in horror history but thats not my point.........reddit theres some passionate jill fans! Are there any fans of marco on reddit!

u/LonestarGoated87 — 3 days ago

FUN FACT: out of all 7 scream films, Scream 4 has the lowest box office financially by far. Its the least succesful scream movie due to fans hating emma roberts. ive never met anyone who likes jill EVER. Most hated character of all time? But she does have fans on reddit

Jill hate is everywhere. You'll never see a character in horror history this hated

Worst is marco though,

Some dream ghostface duos that would mesh will due how similar and connected they were of each other in style. (WITH EXPLANATION BELOW IN BIO)

So these are just my opinions this is based off of ghostfaces that would enjoy working with each other and because of how similar their personalites were. I'm going to a breakdown of why and how (as someone who has explored the franchise ins and outs ....might be long but i will make it entertaining and realistic

  1. Like mother, Like son (Billy and Mrs Loomis) Why this duo would work: Very similar anger and rage, certain level of clumsiness, they are both mom and son that get angry really quick, they have similar features like big bulging eyes, Billy would definitely listen to his mom because he probably feared and respected her, kind of like how he was working for Roman in ways, billy learned from roman, but if mrs loomis was there he could also learn how to find serial killers online, rather than a easy to beat up Stu macher involved. Mrs loomis mixed with her rage and Billys hunter style both being psycho would be fun

  2. The Bloodline Killers (Roman and Jill) - Roman is Jills cousin. And we know that Jill even mentioned Roman in a original script that was changed that she idolized his intelligence. Honestly, Roman alone solo is already basically a death wish for anyone, Roman single handedly accomplished more than all the duos and trios, so now imagine putting jill right by him aka his little cousin who she respected. Roman is basically an alpha in all situations, he manipulates other masterminds like he did billy. Roman would easily manipulate jill, like how jill manipulated charlie. Theres levels to this stuff. They are also so similar because they got get jealous of sidney getting everything. They are highly clever and dangerous. Jill is very cold and calculated. Whereas Roman is the brains and the muscle both. Hes basically everything rolled into one and then some. This combo is unstoppable. Roman would keep tabs on her to make sure shes not trying anything shady, hes always one step ahead and i feel jill would have to listen to roman, or he would easily kill her. Hes smarter, stronger, faster, more superhuman and more manipulative than her. and i feel jill would respect that and fall in line, like billy listening to roman. Roman masterminds Jill to victory and they both get away, roman then could put jill in his stab movie and make her famous like she wanted. in exchange Jill brings roman into the family, since they are blood related and their moms are sisters. Roman is rich famous and he can provide jill with all that. He would probably use Jill to get info on family etc. Jill respects Roman and she knows she cant try anything because he'd get her first. However in reality, they'd just finish sidney and then both get away and he would tell jill not to slip up to cops like she has a habit of doing. TRAIN HER! Roman would be the mastermind of any pairing hes put in. He cannot be manipulated or outsmarted. Roman is the king of all. and Jill and charlie being there by his side equals r.i.p every final girl and final boy.

  3. The Maniacs (Mickey and Amber) - This one really has nothing to do with each other because they are not related family wise..but they do have many similar style and traits that match up. Im not sure who would be the master between mickey and amber maybe both are equal, but they have similar knife stabbing techniques, both are highly dangerous and enjoy being friends with victims, and just look at the way they were demented they have no sense of reality around them. They were also BOTH LOYAL to their partners. How can this not work? Mickey is pretty scary but Amber would likely kick his butt if he tried screwing around, sorry but amber is physically a bigger threat than Mickey. So she might be the mastermind here. All mickey has is speed maybe and hes just too easy to manipulate. im not saying amber is coaching him like mrs loomis guided him, mickey is experienced but his motive is not clever in any way, some say mickey is strong, thats just an illusion hes actually one of the weaker killers and we will get to the another day. I need to glaze ambers superiority as the true master of this specific duo. This duo itself would be so much fun to see onscreen, whether you like them or not, you will be entertained.

  4. The Jokers (Richie and Stu) - This is my fave dream pairing that never happened, out of all the dream duos this is my most wanted. It speaks for itself. Two of the only comedy ghostfaces that made you laugh. They werent scary or even that threatening, they make mistakes and say dumb things thats what makes this so funny, joker personality, who wouldnt want to laugh before death? if you were a victim of these two you'd not be afraid because their charisma would keep you laughing and them constantly arguing or cracking silly jokes. These two are so hilarious and imagining them together is just a dream

Honorable mentions

Ethan/Charlie (We'll call this duo the "The highschool pitbulls"

Jessica/Wayne (Team Technology Beasts)

Jason/Karl (The ones who cant make it to the final act)

Quinn/Marco (Team bulletproof vest)

Whats your dream duo!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wrong about Scream 2 being boring. My thinking a while back was this. But lately i've become a fan of this movie. I've noticed there has been many who say they don't like it, but it has made its way to my top almost

I feel like over the years scream 2 has the weirdest fanbase. its critically a respected slasher sequel, but its fans are not obsessed with it (unlike fans of 3 or 4 who obsess over those movies) personally speaking scream 4 is my least favorite but i rank scream 2 high too now

I have always thought mrs loomis has the best reveal (even though she aint my fave) but i do find mickey boring as heck.....its a shame that the movie itself is liked, but not the killer duo in this film. Would you say popular movie but UNPOPULAR ghostfaces? Thats a shame because i actually like mrs loomis

Scream 2 is growing on me. I realize the cast is such a coming of 90s mood

Neve Campbell/Sidney is so adorable, i love this clip especially when she gushes over brother roman bridger. They always looked alike too! "my sweet brother" and god answers some scream trivia

They didnt ask anything from scream 6 because she wasnt in it

and im assuming nothing from scream 4 since at a convention she said scream 4 was her Least Fave. But they still should have asked her a question from 4 imo

I love her so much. She is the franchise

Scream 3 is my favorite Scream movie. I think it aged the best of all. What do you think?

What do you think of scream 3?

u/LonestarGoated87 — 13 days ago

I loved that DeadMeat J. loves/appreciates Scream 3 after him hating it for so long, However i have a few questions to him about his "critiques" of characters.

Starting off this post by saying not only is Roman my favorite ghostface, but Scream 3 is by far my favorite entry of the franchise. My question is mostly for James A Janisse (Who i really think is a cool dude and like his vids and im not sure what chelseas opinons are on all this if she likes 3 or not, and anyone else here can also chime in) id love for them to read this especially james.

I saw deadmeat get lots of hate in his comments section on youtube for criticizing Roman who has argubly become the most popular ghostface, i mean theres even roman fan communitys online as big as dead meats reddit followers, etc so yes there has been a lot of both "toxic roman fans" and "positive roman fans" i mean even melissa barrera and jenna said roman was their fave ghostface. So the new gen is clearly obsessed, and honestly as a newer scream fan i am too. Roman was also supposed to be mentioned by his little cousin Jill in 4 but they cut that scene, so he finally is mentioned in 6 and 7 many times, and has a cameo in 5. So when James said The roman character was originally planned and was a crybaby with no screentime or scenes with sidney? I have to argue against it respectfully. I agree with him on the voice changer which made no sense!

But cmon every scream was not planned the way it was, Even scream 2 originally had derek and hallie as the killers before mickey and nancy? Roman was always the killer, the difference is he has a partner originally which they decided not to do. (The stu returning script was debunked by scream executive richard potter, and even kevin himself, matthew lillard got heat for his interview, it was never true google it

James next critique (if i remember correctly) was that no ghostface should have been able to kill cotton (liev schrieber) that even Roman killing him was not realistic? Dude Scott foley is 6 ft 3 and was 215 lbs in scream 3. Hes the most realistic ghostface of the franchise, and on his instagram he bench presses 300. So i dont get how one can say this!

James next critique is he had not enough screentime or scenes with sidney, writing issue of course but it still worked. Its unique and matches his motive, plus most ghostfaces dont get screentime

And last but not least, that roman was too whiny in his reveal? So was billy....so was stu...but they get a pass because they were in scream 1?

My opinion is Roman is not only the best motive, acted and realistic but hes also the most smartest, strongest, and only killer with hand 2 hand combat, highest kill count of any killer and single handedly achieved more than the ghostface duos and trios.

I love you so much james, and i know its been years since you made the video, but ive never seen someone go this harsh on roman, i know ur opinion changes often (mines too) you became a scream 3 fan but im wondering if you also appreciate roman now?

Especially more now after the mess that was scream 6 and 7

The only legacy/returning scream characters that died. These are the most important kills

Randy (weakest legacy physically) - killed by mrs loomis

Cotton (toughest legacy character) - killed by roman bridger (only male ghostface to kill a legacy)!

Dewey (most important legacy character)- killed by amber freeman

Judy (not considered legacy but still a returning survivor, she wasnt in the trilogy) killed by amber freeman

This is a rare occurance. It only happens once in a blue moon

u/LonestarGoated87 — 16 days ago

The fact Roman was able to kidnap, KO and tie up prime gale and dewey but chose to let them live because they were so inferior to his fighting is so impressive. But heres a question

Why did he literally let both dewey and gale live? Sidney would still have came if he had killed one and left the other alive. Why keep both alive? Theory: He enjoyed being friends with both. Do you think he had a soft spot for them?

At anytime he could have easily killed them both, which would be crazy considering he already killed a legacy character in Cotton. So killing prime gale and dewey would have been 3 legacy kills in one movie which is nuts, he chose to let them live.

This adds on further to his already impressive resume

but am i silly for thinking he liked them too much

All 15 main ghostfaces from All 7 Scream movies Achievement Kill count so far

Also jason has 1 kill too, should he count?????

Roman has the highest kill count which we know and glad kevin williamson is keeping it that way these days

And contrary to fans who think jill has no kills in costume, i conclude she actually killed the opening, as it was an easy kill for her, besides that shes clumsy yes and slow, but i attribute her with credit, charlie gets too much credit these days because fandom feels bad for him, saying things like charlie has 6 or 7 imo is not true, jill and charlie has 4 tied (kirby survived so its 8 kills)

Do you count jason as ghostface?

Do you guys think Roman knew he had an aunt, Kate roberts and that roman knew he had a little cousin, Jill?

I feel like when maureen (romans mom) rejected him he should have either gone to his sister sidney, or gone to his aunt (maureens sister) kate. Heck we even knew from a deleted script that Jill really admired Roman. After all they're cousins and she bragged about him masterminding in a script they switched out last min. With all this in mind, i feel like Roman could have been a high respected family member of the roberts family, after all hes a roberts from the mom side, but he used bridger as a alias, and he was the most successful/rich family member from the whole family, a movie director thriving in mansions and directing famous actors. the fact he was able to become rich and famous on his own without family is next level, and kate roberts would have talked with maureen or something to not let her son go like that, even though its clear kate was an alcoholic and needed her own help

My dream is to see a thanksgiving reunion with all the mom side roberts. Roman, Jill, Sidney, Kate, Maureen

My favorite final girl Sam and my favorite Ghostface Roman. This for me made my day.

I know theres turmoil between her and the new movies, and fans have bashed the actress but her being a massive roman fanatic is adorable. A lot of people in the franchise has said he was their favorite. Shes iconic for everything she did in the movies, and the constant hate for her is just offputting, i miss melissa and shes the best final girl for me. I know she unfollowed neve and others, and she said scream 7 was bad, and basically said "they have to live with that" to her own friends that were part of apart 7 but she had the right to her opinion. Her acting was always critiqued harshly to the point in scream 6 they made a meta line of her saying "it sucks to be this hated" which they confirmed was based off actual hate she was getting, and now this her recent comments added further fuel to their fire making a strong fanbase of melissa haters.

But the fact she will constantly still talk about roman whenever she meets fans and will glaze him in interviews (like so many of us do because we love him) is for me cute. These are two of my fave characters, so i love it

i am a massive sam fan in general and really miss her

Jill was not the closest to getting away and i would love to debate this, below i wrote points proving she made the most mistakes and did not come close at all. feel free to read

Starting off this post by saying, this is not meant to be a debunk because people on youtube have debunked her in the past. This is strictly from me because i am involved in forensics, and after analyzing every ghostface, i conclude if anything Jill had the worst mistakes and would never have got away, even if sidney did die. If after this you're not convinced, then that is up to you to decide.

  1. How was she going to explain the fact that her EX Bf Trevor had a gunshot in the private parts/nuts? Surely everyone knew they dated, and detective would quickly realize this was a personal killing. Her shooting trevor in the nuts was a major mistake. This alone would put her up for interrogation soon (we'll get to interrogation later).
  2. She did not wear gloves, and all the dna and evidence at kirbys house traces back to her, yes she pinned it on trevor and charlie, but she did not do a good job of selling that. She handled weapons without consistent wiping. Her hand prints and firearms would be found on the guns and knives she used. She did do a quick wipe but really pay attention to the contamination.
  3. She left the costume and mask at kirbys house rather than disposing it. If trevor was the other ghostface, his dna wouldnt be on any mask. She could have easily wiped it down and placed it on and off on trevors body to place his dna on it, and even then her dna would be on there. Even in scream 6 kirby and detective bailey state jills dna was found on mask. Yes other killers had their dna on masks too, but remember they didnt sell a story, they likely were going to depose of the costume as they got the chance, jill was the one that made it far enough (with partners help) that she had to immediately get rid of that and she didnt. After she unmasked she had every oppurtunity to despose of it but didnt think through, shes not smart
  4. This ones a knitpick but when she does her reveal she literally has the front door behind her open, like what girl? what if a neighbour had been walking their dog?
  5. Without charlie she would never have made it even halfway, and she has no kills in costume according to wes cravens bloody disgusting article.
  6. She is the only killer to slip up. No other ghostface was this nervous. If she slipped up to dewey of all people, could you imagine if actual detectives interrogated her (which they would because all evidence traces back to her) and we all know jill cannot keep a story straight if her life depended on it.
  7. Falling for the 'clear' trap by gale huh? she hesitates before she shoots or stabs, its like shes lost when shes making decisions.
  8. What if dewey had decided not to tell jill that sidney survived due to confidentiality? Jill wouldnt have known sidney was alive, and sidney was waking up from her short coma anyways.
  9. She stabs sidney once and thinks its a killshot, and even if sidney had died all the blood splatter patterns and positionings of bodys contradict her.
  10. Jill stabbed herself and Charlie to look like a surviving victim. Medical examiners analyze wounds based on depth, trajectory, and lack of hesitation marks, which quickly unmasks self-mutilation and fabricated claims of self-defense.
  11. Jill planned to use Trevor's IP address to upload snuff films. However, tech forensics would trace the actual device timestamps, network connections, and the digital creation logs of the media files back to her own digital footprint and Charlie's computer equipment.
  12. Jill stabbed Charlie in the heart to frame him as the mastermind. If police ran a forensic workup on Charlie, they would find that he, not Jill, was primarily handling the physical altercations, leaving his distinct DNA profile and defensive wounds indicating an immediate, non-consensual betrayal rather than a staged accomplice narrative.
  13. The hospital scene had her footprints clearly walking to sidneys room. Also how on earth was she going to get away even if she killed sidney and others? Gunshot sounds and her dna and prints at the hospital, just like kirbys house.
  14. Sidney in stitches and stab wounds was able to overpower her. Only reason sidney didnt want to attack jill at kirbys house was she was shocked and clearly tried to convince jill to stop rather than beating her to death.
  15. I had a few more points but i think this is a lot to read so i dont want to extend and sorry if my english is off today i just came back from the dentist and they gave me medicine so im kind of rushing this.

Tell me please how this woman was the closest to getting away with it.

Awesome reaction to Roman bridgers reveal

I just think these are adorable and funny reactions. His performance in the finale was so good, that even though he didnt get a shock reveal due to less screentime, he ate this scene up

Roman is my fave ghostface. Not because motive or character (he deserved more screentime) but because hes the smartest ghostface and hottest and i loved his acting. Most skilled too

In the universe hes my fave, is he yours too? why or why not? was his motive good? for me i thought his motive was solid
