Most of you have probably encountered the phenomenon whereby you come across a new word that you had never seen before, then suddenly it’s all over the place. My latest is ‘apetecer’. Noticed it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Now it’s popping up everywhere. Funny how that happens.
