Story time
So I've(19 m) been talking to this really cute femboy(17 m) that I knew in high-school lately and we went on a date a week or 2 ago. It wasn't the greatest tbh. It wasn't horrible, just awkward as hell. Not only was this my first date with a guy but also I was really nervous, he was really nervous, and we're both terrible at keeping a conversation going. We met up at the farmers market and then headed to one of my favorite local skate spots. I tried (and failed) to do tricks because of how nervous I was and also the fact that I didn't do a warmup session before the date due to time constraints. We then took a walk to the local public peir and talked about some of our past issues by the lake. it wasn't super romantic but it was just nice to just have someone to talk to for both of us. I wanted to hold his hand but I hesitated the entire time. We also agreed to a kiss and i completely forgot about that but even then, if I would have remembered that I probably would'nt have made the move anyway.
After the date I took some time to consider things before moving forward and I've decided this is something I really want to pursue. He's super sweet and compassionate, and that is the kind of partner i've always wanted. but there are a big thing ive considered about myself. And it's that I need to quit smoking if I want this to be a long term relationship. Ive been smoking for almost 4 years now and I honestly regret ever touching weed. Tbh it's actually helped me through alot, especially in school. It (for some reason) helped me focus. Maybe thats because I have ADHD, but who knows. And my parents didn't really care as long as my grades didn't suffer and I didn't do it around my brother's or in the house that often. Anyway after I graduated I tried to quit once. I lasted 2 months before going on an absolute bender for a month and a half or so. It sucked. And now that I'm faced with the realization that I have to quit to keep this relationship I have this anxious feeling. Almost as if im gonna relapse again and again and again and eventually he'll just end up leaving me because of it. I dont want that to happen and the thought of it kinda scares me. So recently I've been trying to cut back. This time much more slowly. I try and puff my vapes or smoke out of my bongs and pipes as little as I feel I need. I would say ive cut back a tiny bit. So far just smoking less at work. I recently got a new hobby too to try and keep myself busy during work, that way I think of smoking less. Its been helpful so im hoping I quit the right way this time.
We have a second date arranged! Hes never been fishing before and when i showed him some of the fish I've caught he seemed pretty interested. Granted. I SUCK ASS at fishing unless I use a hook and worm rig but I've caught a couple fish off lures before. I'm hoping I'm a good fishing instructor. I seem to be good at training new hires on the machinery at my workplace but we'll see if I can teach him how to fish (poorly lol).
He also came up with this bingo sheet that is kinda like a list of things we should do before we start calling each other an official couple. One of those things was pet names. Well, I called him dear and that apparently counted! I thought he meant something like schnookums or something similar. But after that he's been calling me honey. And im really liking the way this relationship is going so far.
He also mentioned something about the 777 rule. I had no idea what that was until he told me. Basically you see each other once every 7 days, sleep over once every 7 weeks, and vacation once every 7 months. Now he only really is looking for the first 2 sevens, so technically it's the 77 rule. I'm probably going to wait until one of my family members gets out of the hospital in a month or 2 to actually try and commit to the 77 rule.
I also just wanna rant about how sweet and clingy he is. Me and him are the same type of clingy and I LOVE it. Were both cuddle bugs so were really into cuddling, we also always want to be next to each other ever since the first date. We basically can talk about almost anything with each other and I'm starting to feel very comfortable with them asking me almost anything at this point. He also is pretty comfortable with me asking almost anything too. So we've been getting to know each other A LOT since the date. We've been asking each other about PDA, past experiences, past relationships ect. We eventually decided that since I didn't hold his hand and forgot to kiss him on our first date(his idea) that I would do it on the second one. Ill probably write a little note on my hand so I dont forget this time lol. We also talked about the first date. We both agreed it could have went better but we still enjoyed getting to be next to each other and physically seeing each other.
Overall it's been a weird and fun experience exploring my sexuality, I've never felt this way around another guy so it's been eye opening for me to say the least.
Thanks for reading my confession!
(19 M) Just discovered I'm bi and I've got a date set up for next week Wednesday with a guy.
Hi, new here and on an alt acc. Ive pondered for a while on if I was really straight or not until recently. A M to F trans guy I used to go to school with recently reached out to me and they've been super flirty and I've absolutely fallen for them. We've deceived to go on a date at a local farmers market thats really close to my house and I also want to show them some of my favorite spots around town. Overall ive just been really giddy on the inside lately and im absolutely loving it
