Make preps not taste like basement

I keep my basement between 30-40% humidity. I don't think it ever really gets warmer than 65 degrees. I just opened a plastic jar of peanuts I had stored down there and they taste like basement. 😭

lots of stuff is in mylar/glass/cans, but what can I do about stuff in plastic like peanut butter? that's not easy to decant into something else?

Im also worried about my crackers/cookies/snacks that are just in cardboard boxes. Does it all need to move to mylar or glass jars?

I got the Pac-Man tattoo last summer as an add-on to a 15-year-old tattoo. I hate the placement, but that could be fixed by extending the “branches” further down.

It immediately scabbed over on the parts with color loss, and the whole thing is just a mess. The only pro is that it looks as old as the rest of the tatt that needs to be touched up as well.

Can Pinky the ghost be saved, or should I just cover it up with something else?

▲ 458 r/laundry

My child has worked the kitchen at a fast food restaurant for 3 years. He comes home smelling like raw meat mixed with an rancid oil drum, and covered in flour. He just got a new set of uniforms 2 months ago, and they were already heavy and oily, with baked in flour stains covering literally half of a given pair of pants and shirts. I was often asking him if he had washed his uniform before he left for the day because it was so dirty- looking. I could never quite tell if he was actually cleaning his clothes or telling me what I wanted to hear.

I stumbled into spa day, and total game changer! These uniforms were "clean" when I put them in to soak last night. Everything came out in the wash, despite being put through the dryer 3 times a week up until this point.

I'm changing out our detergent for one without soapy ingredients and going to experiment with FEBU and Biz for additives. Now I'll know for sure if he leaves for work in a dirty uniform, he really didn't wash it!

Bless you all for this magic!
