Okay so i just turned 18 and decided i probably needed to get an ID so as i was applying i went to get all my documents together so they can just check if it works online but as i was looking for my SSN card, i realized that i could not find it. i have not touched it since 2022 because i just took a photo of it during that year and used the photo of i needed it. I was looking online to get it replaced but in order to get it replaced, i need a valid form of ID which i dont have because in order to get one i need my physical SSN card. What do i do…

this is my first year in college and i’m a commuter student so it’s hard to me to find friends since if i’m not at work, im at school studying. For me, I find it easier to talk to ppl and have conversation when I help them with something (idk why but it works..?) I’ve noticed that ever since I shared some notes from the first few weeks of class for classmates who couldn’t make it to the lecture and flashcards/study guides, i’ve been almost the unspoken designated notes person. I’ve had people ask me for not one lecture but ALL of my notes so far privately and there are some people who ask for notes in a lecture gc. I’m not sure if i should still even share my notes anymore because it’s clear that some people are using them in replacement of a lecture and i’m not sure how i feel about that. I like helping people but i don’t like being the go to “notes person”… What should i do?? 😭

is it common that there are a good chunk of pre nursing students who are hella toxic… Some of the stuff i hear is actually diabolical. example being in my chem lecture there are a bunch of people around me so obviously i would overhear conversations and one time i heard this one group of friends who kid you not said “i don’t think we need to be worried about not getting into the major, people here are stupid” and then giggling about it. like HELLO??? and this is unfortunately not the first instance… it lowkey feels so demoralizing hearing conversations like this from your peers when you’re all aiming for the same goal. i thought we left all this behind when we graduated from high school 😭😭

I’m currently taking Hunter pre reqs for nursing but ik I need to take the NEX since they use NEX score and GPA to choose who is selected. Is there any tips for studying for NEX or for keeping a high GPA? Unfortunately chem is my weakest science subject so any tips on that could be helpful too! I’m just trying to max out everything I can do to get the best chance since I heard there’s a ton of students that apply every year (and somehow this year is the year where there are even more applicants?) and they only accept 100 students…

I lowkey overslept and missed my orientation since I woke up at 9:30 and it starts at 10. I plan on going to the zoom makeup one the day before classes start but is it the same as the in person one? Is there anything different? If someone alr went to the earlier ones can you lmk what you did?
