Masters abroad with Virtual University BS and PU ADP

Hi everyone, this post is for fellow Pakistani students and alumni currently in Malaysia.

I recently completed my BS Commerce with a CGPA of 3.7 and also scored an overall band 8 in IELTS Academic.
My academic pathway is slightly non-traditional as I initially completed part of my bachelor’s studies through Punjab University, and later completed the remaining degree requirements through Virtual University. My final degree and transcripts are recognized as 4 year degree and HEC attested.

Recently, I came across discussions suggesting that some Pakistani students may face visa or admission issues because of having multiple transcripts or transfer/exemption-based academic histories, even when their qualifications are legitimate and officially recognized.

I would really appreciate guidance from anyone who has had a similar experience or knows whether this type of academic background creates problems for:

- admission into Malaysian master’s programs, or
- student visa approval through EMGS.

Thank you in advance for any honest advice or shared experiences.

Declined my Masters admission in Australia

I have declined my Masters admission in Australia due to high financial cost.

Instead, I am choosing Malaysia for my Research Masters in Management.

I am targetting UUM which has their Operation Management program accredited with AACSB.

I want to know the living costs in Malaysia as a girl. Please guide.
