Nice place, lots of greenery but why is it named after the Australian capital city?
Amateur holiday photos from 2009 - 2011 from a Canon Powershot E1. I think its nostalgia but I miss this old 10MP camera. Autofocus doesn't always work. Low-light is shite without flash but when the light hits just right I think the photos turn out really good. I'm looking thru these old photos and its making me question modern cameras...
I wish I still had this camera in 2026 (it died on me)
I'm used to shooting at 50mm ff equivalent for everything. I recently picked up a 28mm for wider landscape shots, but I'm curious—what do you guys use yours for? (show me your pics) I've been trying it for street photography too, but I'm getting some weird stares now that I have to get closer to people 😅
Mouse for size comparison. I have an EM10 IV but I still like the colors from this older cam.
does anyone have recipes for your Olympus JPEGs?
I didn't know if I'd have time for photography since this was a work-trip. This was the most compact setup for me, since I just sold my 17mm pancake lens (in exchange for the Lumix 14mm which hasn't arrived in my mailbox). If anyone is curious about the Fujian/re-purposed cctv lens...here you go. I regret not bringing a better lens since I actually had lots of time to walk about the city center.
