Worth my 5k 10/10

On the day of Holi, my friend and I packed our bags and headed to McLeod Ganj to begin our trek to Triund.

We were a little high on bhang 😅, but somehow we still made it to our bus just in time. That journey turned out to be one of the most memorable trips I've ever had.

Originally, I had asked a lot of my friends to join, but no one responded. I was determined to go on this trek no matter what, so I booked a solo ticket. Then, just one day before the trip, one of my friends decided to come along—and honestly, thank God he did.

I won't make this long, so here are a few tips for anyone planning to visit Triund:

If you're visiting Triund, don't miss the Snowline the next day. The views are absolutely worth it.

Start your trek via the Bhagsu Waterfall route (the longer trail). You don't need a guide. The trail is well-marked, many trekkers use it, and there are plenty of shops along the way.

If you have an extra day, stay one night in McLeod Ganj and leave your unnecessary luggage there. If you're short on time, it's completely manageable without doing this.

Pre-book only your tent. Carry around 4 litres of water per person. Food is usually provided by the campsite/tent agency, and it's pretty decent.

Visit Snowline only if the trail is clear. If there's snow, do NOT attempt it. It becomes extremely dangerous, with narrow paths where there's barely enough space to place one foot.

Descend via the Gallu Devi Temple trail and try to start your descent before 2 PM at any cost. If you're planning to walk instead of taking a taxi, book a hotel in Naddi, which is the closest place to stay after the descent. We walked all the way to Naddi because taxi fares were ridiculously high, and honestly, it turned out to be a beautiful trail.

Have at least one person in your group who can ride a scooter. Renting one is the best way to explore McLeod Ganj and Dharamshala without spending a fortune on taxis.

Hope this helps anyone planning the trek. Have fun, stay safe, and don't underestimate the mountains! 🏔️

Guys idk i should be sad or not after investing 4k every month for 2years...

I don't want to make you read long ass paragraphs so

Height: 174.5cm-->174.5cm(😓)

Expense: -0₹--> -1,00,000₹(roughly)

Bench: 15kg-->80kg

Squat: 0kg--> 105kg

Deadlift: 30kg--> 125kg

Since my lifts are decent and iam 21 so I was thinking to stay under 66kg and compete for junior powerlifting but there is this intimidation to get in shape iam stuck what should I do? Competing in senior under 66kg will be very difficult...idk help me
