Ant invasion need help

We never paid for any pest control service because we’ve always been able to take care of it ourselves. But with all the rain this summer, ants in our house is getting out of control. I have usually been able to take care of it with Advion gel, but they don’t seem to be dying off like they used to. I’ve been checking out Facebook posts and NextDoor. Who has had experience with Willis Family Pest Control, Helping Hands and PermaTreat? How’s the pricing and responsiveness? Thanks

Is this safe, or what to do?

Korean War memorabilia; belonged to my fil when he was in Korea during the war. My husband said it’s already been expended, so not to worry about it blowing someone’s hand off. I don’t want it in the house, regardless.
