Iphone 16 pro or Iphone 17 pro?

Hey guys, I'm still on a iPhone 11 Pro and IT IS GIVING UUUP. Always warm, battery life ass and it's way too slow.

I'm not a big fan of the iPhone 17 Pro design but I really like its features. I live in Switzerland and you can't find the iPhone 16 Pro for sale anywhere. At least not new.

So I have this two possibilities:

Refurbished Iphone 16 Pro, Price: USD 1'186.60

  • excellent condition
  • 256gb
  • no scratches or signs of wear visible at arm's length
  • at least 90% of the original battery life

New iPhone 17 Pro, Price: USD 1'322.30

  • 256gb
  • brand new

Is the iPhone 16 Pro worth buying it secondhand (trusted seller) in perfect condition but used (90% battery life) for only USD 135.70 less than an iPhone 17 Pro? Or did I drink to much bleach and hallucinating that the 17 Pro isn't worth the hype? Is it worth it?

Would y'all even look for the 16 Pro that isn't in perfect condition if I get it cheaper?

I'm a big picture and video taker and I work as a content marketer for a business so I sometimes need to create content with the phone as well. Idk what to do.

Do I really need a root canal?

My dentist says I need a root canal on one of my front teeth. I went to him because I was feeling some kind of pressure on my front tooth (since 6 months) he made that cold-test on my tooth and it didn't react but it wasn't the only one. He also made an x-ray and a 3D x-ray and told me the tooth doesn't have any kind of hole in it or caries but it definitely has a shadow on his root. He told me I may not feel pain because my tooth may be "dead" or highly calcified.

I haven't had any accident where I fell on my teeth. Only when I was a child (11 years ago) I fell on my face and was bleeding from my mouth...but is it really possible that my front teeth slowly died in a period of 11 years?

How do y'all see it based on the pictures? Is root canal treatment inevitable and the right thing to do?
