One small thing that completely annoys me, and slows down my APM - Hotkeys do not queue units properly

Gonna start by saying this is my favorite upcoming RTS and I love it.. but...

Lets say I have 2 barracks selected. I wanna queue up 2 footmen, one in each barracks. If I hit the hotkey twice quickly- why does it add both footmen to one barracks! leaving one barracks idle. (same thing happens with town halls and workers)

Even if you have 4 barracks selected, and you want 4 footmen? 1 barracks is queued with 2. Another is queued with 2. then you have two idle barracks.

The most infuriating part? If I sit there and hit the hotkeys very slowly then it will actually queue them properly spread out, 1 for each barracks.

Is this a feature or bug or what? because it drives me insane. Oops better not hit F too fast or they wont queue properly! Make sure to hit F nice and slow. F... F... F... Wouldn't wanna mess up the queue!

In the middle of an intense match this is just unacceptable to me. I'll be in lightning speed mode microing my heart out. Then when its time to queue units I have to remind myself to not hit the hotkeys too fast. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Video games: The fun is literally all in your head.

What makes a video game bad or good? Why am I loving some rpgs while others I hate? When it comes down to raw input, no matter what game I play, I am looking at flashing lights, and hitting buttons on my keyboard. The fun is all a fantasy or imagination that relies much more on my own thoughts and feelings than the actual flashing lights on the screen.

I love rogue likes and rpgs. Some rpgs dont feel like they have good enough progression or character development. I really want my character to be improving while I play. The thought of my character improving is where the fun comes from?? So the flashing lights are always just flashing lights. But they have to trick / convince me somehow I am being productive or progressing?

Video games are definitely an art more than a science. Have you ever taken a magic mushroom and gamed? It feels like a beautiful work of art. More so than any painting could be? Literally hundreds and hundreds of people working on it, for thousands and thousands of hours, and now I get to experience this otherworldly virtual experience. An experience that doesnt even have to follow the laws of reality. But at the same time, something as small as one bad gameplay mechanic can ruin it for the brain. Also probably because in this age, there are 10 million games, so we can afford to be picky and choosy. I feel overwhelmed, as though I could live to 1,000 and not finish all the games I want. Especially because I like to take them slow and savor them.

I feel like I have more to say on the matter but am also WAY WAY TOO HIGH to conceptualize it.

If anyone needs game recommendations I bet I could recommend you dozens you've never heard of! I'm a bit of a connoisseur. CHECK OUT ECHO POINT NOVA OMG its the best pot head game

Funny interaction at Meijer

This dude was CLEARLY tripping balls at Meijer. Repeatedly trying to go out the wrong door and it wouldn't open. His GF was trying to like, guide him the other way. But he was HELLBENT on getting out that specific door. I walked in, opening the door he was trying to get out. He looked at me like I was a wizard. I just went, "Haha, you need to lay off the drugs bro." His eyes widened and he looked at me like a terrified owl. His gf laughed a little as they walked out. As they walked out he craned his neck looking backwards at me, eyes fixed on me, terrified. Bro I'll never forget the look on his face, "HOW DID YOU KNOWWWW"

In s14 e17 Roger matter-of-factly says, "None of my personas are family."

Yet he has a Uncle Roger persona and even Jenny from-da-bloc was Steve's "cousin".

In season 1 he impersonates Stans dad. He has another persona, "uncle phil" in season 3.

Season 5, home adrone, he pretends to be stan and francines daughter. He also has another Uncle character- Uncle Kappy, who truly isn't uncle kappy until he is drunk. lol.

I don't usually nit pick stuff like this. But Roger just says that none of his personas are family so definitively, when It's really just not true?

Perhaps he meant IMMEDIATE family? but he didn't say that. I know most of us here still would consider an Uncle or cousin family.. and he still impersonated Stan's dad and also pretended to be their daughter, which is immediate family anyway..

It's not a big deal or anything but I'm watching that episode now and that line has always bothered me. It just hurts my brain why he would say none of the personas are family.
