Hopefully Getting Something Started...

There's some chatter on the vintage baseball channel about good places to discuss vintage football, which led to the suggestion of trying to kickstart something here.

I'm a (mostly) vintage collector who has just about all the rookies from the 40's on. Two of the last ones I'm hunting are a graded 1948 Leaf Sid Luckman and a 1948 Bowman Sammy Baugh. Here are their counterparts which I already have:

If anyone has a line on either, I'd be happy to chat!

Going to the National show in Chicago? What are you bringing and/or looking for?

Someone on the general sportscards sub posted their personal list for Chicago and suggested a thread where others might be able to match up. I thought it might be worthwhile to post the same question in the football specific forums.

I'll post my lists in the first comment. I hope everyone who's going has a great time.

OK. Following up to my last post, it seems like payroll is a big issue with Wave.

Coming at it from the other direction, is anyone using Wave payroll successfully? I'm a one person S-corp in Oregon and would be curious to hear what any other Oregon-based users are experiencing.

Thanks in advance.

I just started Wave's payroll service for a single employee S-corp. Wave pulled the funds from our bank account on April 28 and issued the May 1 payment with no issues. I then entered a manual journal entry reclassifying the employer taxes portion of the bank withdrawal from employee pay to employer tax payments. Today Wave created an auto-entry which also debits/credits the gross amount to adjust for taxes. This makes everything double-booked on the P&L statement. I don't want to delete the bank entry because my account won't reconcile. I also don't want to delete the Wave entry in case it would affect the financials.

The live chat rep could see the double posting but couldn't provide a solution. He created a ticket which will be forwarded instead. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I can't imagine this is an uncommon set up in Wave.

Thanks.
