Got my portable gamedev setup working
It’s a hackberry pi cm5. I used with cheapest lite version of the cm5 with 2gb of ram and no WiFi. Total cost was like $230 and now I got a compact device I can code with while I stand around at work.

Is a cm5 lite with 2gb ram enough ram for a hackberry pi?
I bought a 2gb ram cm5 lite since it was the one I could afford but I’m realizing the preloaded raspberry pi os on the sd card probably requires too much ram. Is flashing the sd card with the lite os enough im going to be use applications that take less than 100mb of ram for now I believe.

Beginner question
Hey yall I’m a beginner into the cyberdeck/hackberry space. I just purchased one from Elecrow and a rpi cm5 separately from eBay, and had a quick question. I see people saying you need a power supply for the the device as well but don’t see anywhere in the assembly guide where it says that is needed. Is that just for charging the battery when JT gets low, and if so is it the same as the actually raspberry pi 5 power supply? Or is the power supply only needed for people who need to flash the pi5 first. Sorry if it’s an obvious question.
