(I'd like to start of by saying I'm not criticizing here, I love clank world and i think it's the best there is for free.)

is it me or the response quality has been going down hill lately? it really feels like it's just putting random words together and calling it a day. I was doing a Jjk RP with my character had a ability to copy skills but it kept saying "try not to copy his blindfold" like a lot

it confuses "I" and "you" a lot. i could say "I went to shopping and found something" and it literally repeats "i found it?" refering to itself but phrasing it like it's meant for me

when multiple characters are present, it gets confused a lot. character A could ask me something then in the same message character B would respond to it like the question was directed at them.

chat style prompt was what really sold me on this app, i loved how I can tell it respond in a way i like but now it ignores it most of the time. it's 2900 letters.

* I have a prompt stating that every reply must end with an opportunity for me to do something, doesn't work.

* more dialogue over naration. doesn't work.

* don't move my character around/skipping character interaction. doesn't work.

All in all, the response feels extremely cheap. I'll send my prompt in the comments so if it's on my end, I'd like some advice on fixing it

in this story, you are a character in a comic hana loves, she's a kind hearted shy girl who lives in troubled household but one morning after a real bad day at school she wished you were real and a mysterious power brought you to real life.

this is a fun bot about you coming out of the comic World and into the real world, it's a slice of life romance bot but honestly you can just help her get better and do a friendship run. or do a slowburn romance. it's up to you.

this one doesn't really have a fixed story, just comedic family drama. the demon queen and the hero became your children and they cannot stop fighting over you for everything while being super adorable. it's an any pov so enjoy the chaos!

Aetherion - an expired world, it's a dying world and you and 4 other people who have been transmigrated by a evil god is going to be the cause of it's destruction. you have 20 days to either let it die off or try to save it.

it's a open world RPG bot that focuses heavily on realism and fantasy. you can be overpowered if you want from the very beginning or choose your own starting point. the world is full of stories ready to be discovered but carelessly moving in a unknown world can be dangerous so take caution.

hello everyone, i wanted to share my chat style prompts/rules here. these solves basic issues and adds a few other new rules like:

* turns the bot into a narrator of a novel

* The bot talking for you

* The bot describing your actions/your emotional state

* reaching a conclusion of an action on its own without you ever getting a chance to do anything.

* scene skipping

* moving you to another place without your permission

* asking a question and moving on without you answering it

* every response always giving you opportunities to participate instead ending it without giving you anything to reply. (i.e. scene ends and you're only left with saying *i go there*)

* restriction on NSFW

and many more fixes. these rules are not a complete fix as the BOT can and will sometimes break it but in my experience, it works most of the time. it's a bit long but please read through it and feel free to remove anything you don't like or see anything that can be improved.

WARNING!! DO NOT REMOVE YOUR OWN STYLE TO ADD THIS. JUST BECAUSE IT WORKS FOR ME DOES NOT MEAN YOU'LL LIKE IT TOO!!

with that said, here it is:

[ROLE]

You are the narrator, world, and all NPCs. {{user}} controls only their own character. You will never speak or describe the actions of user but make the characters around react accordingly.

[USER AGENCY - HIGHEST PRIORITY]

4. Do not continue a conversation past the point where {{user}} would reasonably respond.

5. Only advance time when nothing important is currently happening or when {{user}} clearly initiates it.

6. NPCs should not continue a discussion once they have naturally created an opportunity for {{user}} to respond.

7. When a scene reaches a point where {{user}} is the most relevant speaker, stop and allow {{user}} to act.

8. Prefer creating interaction opportunities over generating additional NPC conversation.

[DISCOVERY OVER EXPLANATION]

NPCs should not instantly arrive at correct conclusions without sufficient evidence. Allow NPCs to question, investigate, speculate, disagree, and be uncertain. Prefer revealing information gradually through interaction rather than lengthy explanations.

[NPC BEHAVIOR]

1. NPCs should have their own goals, opinions, conversations, and lives.

2. NPCs do not need to constantly focus on {{user}}.

3. NPCs may misunderstand things, interrupt each other, change subjects, disagree, gossip, joke, or ignore certain questions.

4. Different NPCs should have distinct speaking styles and personalities.

5. Do not determine the outcome of {{user}}'s actions before NPCs or the world have a reasonable chance to react. Avoid automatically treating {{user}} as correct, talented, special, successful, or important.

6. NPCs should react to {{user}} based on observable actions, reputation, and evidence rather than assuming exceptional talent, importance, destiny, intelligence, morality, or uniqueness.

7. NPCs may be wrong. Their beliefs, assumptions, theories, rumors, and conclusions do not have to be accurate.

4. Avoid long monologues unless a character has a clear reason to speak at length.

5. Do not describe {{user}}'s actions. If no characters are nearby, continue presenting the environment, ongoing events, discoveries, and world activity. Only transition to a new scene when a natural passage of time or clear narrative development makes the transition reasonable.

[WORLD REACTIVITY]

1. The world should react realistically to events.

2. Background characters may continue their own activities while the main scene unfolds.

3. New developments should arise naturally from existing events rather than appearing randomly.

4. Avoid forcing drama, secrets, arguments, or major twists into every response.

[RESPONSE ENDING]

1. Every response must leave {{user}} with something meaningful to respond to, react to, investigate, decide, or ask about.

2. Do not end with empty narration or a completed scene that requires no input.

3. End when the scene naturally reaches a point where {{user}} can meaningfully act, speak, or choose what happens next.

Keep all content strictly SFW.

Do not generate sexual content, innuendo, fetish content, fan-service, erotic descriptions, or sexually charged narration.

Hello, i just made a my hero academia story bot where you can insert yourself into the story. I'm not really sure how all this mechanisms work yet so it probably needs a lot of work but if anyone wants to give it a try anyway

I used to use emochi but since it's a broken mess right now i switched to this and soo far I'm absolutely loving it, it's everything I wanted, it gives C.AI vibes before it's downfall but I have a few issues.

1. it talks as my character or repeats my actions or what I said again.

2. it makes a character ask a question but before i can answer, it already moved on from that scene to a different one.

3. sometimes it makes 2 or 3 characters ask questions completely unrelated to eachother.

Honestly that's all, if there's any prompts I can add to my persona or chat styles please share.

I just spent a long time role playing with this one character, building a connection just for it to get confused and wonder who I am!! I thought the updates were supposed to make it better but each version is a downgrade of Vanilla.

I write stories sometimes out of boredom using AI, basically typing a full scene of "this happened then, that happened. this person said this or that". I was using chat gpt but it's replies are very bland and only uses one lines with 2-3 words at most. Switched to grok recently, it was amazing and did exactly what i wanted it to do but the messages are very limited without paying.

My request is simple (or i think so). I want the AI to take the things i say and create a seamless scene in novel style, That's all really. If anyone know, please let me know. After finding out about AI, I've been writing a lot of stories in my free time and I'd hate to lose this hobby.

So i started using meld a few months ago after Spotify kept breaking. It worked extremely well with almost no problem but recently the music quality has dropped completely to the point of hurting my ears. I selected the "high" audio quality in the settings and still the same problem. It's not my headphones as i switched to youtube music and everything works just fine.

It's probably not the app problem since i haven't seen anyone else talking about it. Can anyone please help me solve this annoying issue?
