M31 Europe Looking for a daily/weekly chat, preferably with other parents
father of three and work in tech. Between work, kids, and everything else life throws at you, I’ve realized it would be nice to have a few people to check in with regularly.
Parenting is amazing, but it’s also exhausting in ways people without kids don’t always understand. Some days you’re talking about career goals, the next you’re celebrating that everyone slept through the night. 😄 I’d love to chat with other parents who get that balance.
Outside of work and family (when possible) I enjoy hiking, reading, gaming now and then, and falling down random rabbit holes about science, psychology, history, or whatever catches my interest. Music-wise I’m into bands like Linkin Park and Green Day, and I have a soft spot for horror movies, The Blair Witch Project is still one of my favorites because of what it doesn’t show.
I’m looking for genuine conversations rather than endless small talk. We don’t have to message all day, but it’d be nice to have someone to chat with throughout the week about life, work, parenting, travel, books, or whatever’s on our minds.
If you’re a parent looking for the same kind of friendship, or even if you’re not but think we’d get along.. feel free to send me a message!
Working from home, need someone to chit chat with about anything and everything while my dashboards load.
M30, I love skiing, hiking, climbing, basically if there’s a mountain I’m there for it.
Why does French-speaking Switzerland tend to be more EU-friendly than German-speaking Switzerland?
Looking at recent and historical votes, Romandie often appears more supportive of closer ties with Europe. French-speaking cantons were among the strongest opponents of the recent 10-million population initiative, which would have jeopardized free movement with the EU.. support for maintaining and developing the bilateral agreements with the EU seems consistently higher in Romandie than in much of German-speaking Switzerland.
