This Could Be My Final FPL Draft, Any Suggestions?

This could be my final draft for the upcoming FPL season. I really like the team overall, but I’m still not fully convinced by the bench and maybe the defence.
What do you guys think? Would you make any changes before the season starts? Any suggestions are welcome!

Should I switch one of my classes to online? And do I have to pay to switch classes?

Hey everyone, I’m in Business Administration at Algonquin and I’m trying to decide whether I should switch one of my classes to online.
I already took Introduction to Finance online over the summer, so technically I have one less course to take this semester than I originally would have.
I was thinking about taking Accounting online mainly because if I do, I’d have Thursday and Friday completely free, which honestly sounds pretty nice.
The thing is, I took Accounting last semester and I actually really liked the course. It was a little difficult at times, but I enjoyed it overall. So I’m not sure if I should take it online just for the convenience of having those two days free, or keep it in person because I know I liked the class and maybe I’d learn better that way.
would you switch Accounting to online, or would you switch a different course to online instead? Is there another course that you found more difficult, especially when it comes to theory, that you’d recommend taking online? Or maybe it’s better leave all in person?

Haaland is very expensive, should I build my team with or without him? What changes would you make depending on which option I choose?

I’m currently stuck between building my FPL team with Haaland or going without him. He’s obviously very expensive and takes up a huge amount of the budget, but at the same time, it’s Haaland and he has the potential to score a massive number of points.
I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth spending so much on him or using that money to build a more balanced squad.

What would you do?

I keep ruining my own Career Mode experience by making bad squad decisions. Any advice?

I need some advice because I keep running into the same problem in Career Mode.
My issue isn’t that I don’t know how transfers work or how to identify good players. The problem is that I struggle with the consequences of my decisions.
Sometimes I make a few transfers and later realize I signed players I didn’t really need, which makes my squad feel less special and takes away some of the fun. Other times, I sell a player because I think I won’t use him, but later I realize he was actually important for rotation, depth, or certain situations.
When this happens, I either end up with a squad that feels wrong or I start losing games because I don’t have the balance I wanted. Then the career mode starts becoming less enjoyable because I feel like I have to fix mistakes instead of just building the team.
I’m not looking for advice on which players to sign. I’m more interested in how you guys manage this mindset:
How do you avoid regretting transfers?
Do you have any rules before making big squad changes?
How do you recover when you realize you made a mistake with your squad?
Do you restart your save, or do you try to adapt and continue?
I want my Career Mode to feel like a long-term project, not something I restart every time I make a bad decision.

What would you do in this situation?

I’m currently in the 2nd division of my career mode, after starting from the 4th division and climbing through multiple promotions.
I have a player I’ve been developing since the beginning of the save. He started at 53 overall and has grown to 64 overall. My original idea was to turn him into a superstar and make him a key player throughout the whole journey.
Now I’m starting to doubt if he will ever be good enough for the Premier League, even if I continue progressing and reach the top division.
The situation gets more complicated because I also have another player who is 72 overall and has “Exciting Prospect” potential. He actually plays, but I’ve been using him out of position as a CAM instead of his natural role.
So I’m basically stuck between continuing to invest in the player I’ve had since the start of the save, or shifting focus to the higher potential player who seems more suitable for top-level football, even if he’s not playing in his best position right now.
What would you do in this situation? Stick with the original player for the story, or prioritize team progression and potential?

Who is your FIFA “hidden gem” that made it to the World Cup?

I was wondering, which player did you find in Carrer Mode before the World Cup started, and now you’re seeing them play at the actual tournament?
They don’t have to be a superstar or a big name, just someone you knew because of FIFA before most people noticed them.

My pick is Marko Stamenic from New Zealand. I found him in Career Mode a while ago and always liked using him because he was a solid midfielder with good potential. Now seeing him representing New Zealand at the World Cup is pretty cool.

How do you make Career Mode realistic when Professional is too easy and World Class is chaos?

I’ve been struggling to enjoy Career Mode lately and I’m wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

The first issue is that I’m running out of Career Mode ideas that actually keep me interested. Every time I finally find a save that sounds fun, I end up quitting after a season or two. Part of that is my own fault because I tend to make too many transfers and build a super team too quickly, which kills the challenge. I already know I need to be stricter with my transfer rules.

My bigger problem is the difficulty settings.

When I play on World Class, matches often end with crazy scorelines like 5-4, 6-5, or something similar. I know high-scoring games happen in real life occasionally, but it feels like there are way too many goals in my saves. I also know that part of the problem is my defending, which definitely needs improvement.

The issue is that when I drop down to Professional difficulty, it becomes way too easy. I regularly win by 5, 6, or even 7 goals, and after a few matches the save becomes boring because there’s no challenge.

So I’m stuck between a difficulty that’s too easy and one that feels unrealistic because of the amount of goals being scored.

Has anyone found a good solution for this? Do you use sliders, custom settings, house rules, or just stick with World Class and improve defensively over time?

I’m looking for a Career Mode experience that feels realistic, challenging, and competitive without every match turning into a goal-fest

Any unique career mode ideas to make the game fun again?

I feel like I’ve already tried most of the classic ideas and I’m struggling to find a new save that actually keeps me entertained long term.
I already did:
a realistic rebuild
Schalke 04 with only German players
a save focused only on young wonderkids/prospects
a full academy/youth-only career mode
The problem is that after a while every save starts feeling the same, and I want something that gives me motivation to keep playing season after season.
I’m looking for ideas with interesting rules, restrictions, storylines, transfer policies, etc. Anything that makes the career mode feel fresh and actually fun again.

Should I keep this player in his current position or switch him? What do you think is his ideal position based on these stats?
