Normal Map and Render not Lining Up?
Hi Everyone!
I was learning how to make normal maps and I came across this problem. I rendered the tyre tread and baked the normal map from it but somehow they are both not aligned. Could someone help me out here?
Also tips on aligning the texture to be seamless would be greatly appreciated!

Advise on UV Packing to Someone Self-Taught
Hi All!
I have 0 experience professionally with Blender. I have unwrapped and packed my car model but I wanted to ask if image 1 a good aproach (selecting every mesh and packing) or if it's better to go through all parts individually and pack them like image 2? I feel as more squares from the checker map are seen that would mean better texture detail?
I've seen a lot of UV unwrapping tutorials but I seem to miss this part.
I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks!
