How to resolve the problems of pashtuns

I've been thinking of this for quite a while, Pashtuns are a very idealist type of people both in terms of the older and the younger generation. For context Im not pashtun im a Tanoli but all of my family is pashtun culturally, not to mention that my mother's side is entirely pashtun.

I think the biggest downfall of pashtuns is being too idealist and following cult personalities blindly thinking they will give them their rights or give them their due liberation or rights

An example of this is the cult of Imran Khan, who did oppose the army cruelty but only when he lost his power when he wasn't in power he criticized Shahbaz Sharif's anti army stance it's as if, the army loves playing musical chairs with our people.

Then there's Aimal Wali who's party promised the people of my region that Tanawal would be made it's own district since ANP claims to work for all pashtuns including pashtunised people like swatis and Tanoli. Problem however, comes due to the fact that Aimal wali only uses the names of many tribes to gather support for his own political power. He says all of us are Afghan but his behavior where he licks the boots of army generals clearly shows that Pashtun welfare isn't his biggest concern.

I think we can't be too much violent against the state because honestly it just leads to more missing persons.

For me what I think the solution to the liberation of all ethnic groups disgruntled by the army is to promote education for both our sisters and brothers and to promote our native languages. As an example my tribe was bilingual in tanawali( a rare Hindko dialect with lots of pashto loans) and pashto but they gave up the pashto language in only 2 generations and our tanawali language is being diluted by words from normal Hindko and Urdu. I also met many Pashtuns who cannot communicate in proper pashto which is a very concerning change. So by promoting education and our linguistic tribal and ethnic identities one can hope that a future where Pashtuns kohistanis and other groups get their due rights, be created.

Addressing something

A lot of people have recently given me a lot of positive response on my sub but they accuse me of being biased or hating awans. This is incorrect, I respect all the tribes and I've made several posts about other tribes. The reason I refrain from making too many posts about other tribes is to avoid making mistakes and obviously this will come off bad because Im a tanoli I can talk about lodis because that's my maternal side but again id like to move with caution.

One thing is that enemies and haters will always find something to hate me for.

Again everyone is welcome to post about their tribes if they're bothered that I don't post enough about their tribes and frankly I think it's incumbent more on the person making the criticism to make posts about their tribe.

Lastly we are welcoming new mods from other tribes like jadoons, uthmanzais, mashwanis etc

Tarbela is ours not swabi's

A common misconception that pashtun nationalists have been spreading that I noticed quite often is that they demand many things from the government based on tarbela dam even though 90 percent of the dam exists in Hazara. This is a dangerous misconception as it invalidates how Tanolis and other ethnic groups lost so much land to this dam and got peanuts in return. Not only that I accept that the outlets and some control stations do exist in swabi but facts and figures show us that the majority of the dam exists in Hazara not in swabi I mean come on what does the name Tarbela mean? It was a literal village of uthmanzais khalabat was also a village shared by Tanolis and uthmanzais who by the way are a hazarewal tribe.

As someone who's family on both sides Lodi and Tanoli were affected by the dam it hurts my heart so much sitting with my elders and seeing them recall how wonderful their lives were in the valley of tanawal how quickly the government forced an exodus onto us from our homeland. This pain, while I didn't face the exodus is still deeply personal to me and I feel I have a right to speak up on this.

Tarbela is ours not anyone else's.

When you're so delusional that you start larping iranic origin and hating Punjabis

The purpose of Hazarewal identity was never to insult or target punjabis. We only oppose punjabis who glorify the rule of Hari Singh nalwa. However there's a few pages run by awans and other hindkowans who are so delusional in their hatred that they have started larping as iranic. Let me be clear no genetics show that awan or hindkowan are of an iranic origin.

These people are flexing on punjabis saying we are iranic you are indic when this is false and no phenotypic larping is weird. Dards are indic but have the same phenotype as pashtuns. Not only this these people are also dragging the names of Tanoli, swati, Yousafzai and other tribes with them only when it suits them otherwise they resort to insults calling Tanoli as rajput which is a debunked hypothesis. On a genetic plot awans and hindkowans would not be that far from punjabis not to mention that on genetic plots khatri and some other Punjabi groups are closer to pashtuns than these people.

The purpose of Hazarewal sub Reddit is to respect and uplift all ethnic groups and prevent any misinformation targeted towards them whether they be pahari, pashtun, hindkowan, tanoli or swati.

Feel free to report these ids.

Do not get your history from immature influencers afraid to admit they were wrong

Hindkowan influencer offended on being corrected regarding history of haripur

She also insulted the different tribes of hazara like tanolis uthmanzai and jadoon calling us as slaves of Sikhs and people who lost to sikh which is completely false

Later on she deleted my comment

Her Instagram is Ifraflicks

Most powerful tribes of the Hazara region

Meh it's just a list don't be offended if you don't find yourself in it

( descending order of power top has most power)

This is only specific to the Hazara region for example Lodis are not that powerful in hazara historically but overall in subcontinent were even more successful than many tribes mentioned here

Swatis

Tanolis

Karlals

Jadoons

Yusufzai

Uthmanzai

Mashwani

Syeds ( of mansehra)

Gujjars

Lmk if I missed anyone.

This is why you don't learn history from influencers

Hindkowan influencer offended that I corrected her on a few things

Like how not all of haripur was under the occupation of hari Singh nalwa

Like how not all of haripur which btw includes lower tanawal and many mashwani villages doesn't speak the haripur dialect that is more intelligible with Punjabi

At last I'll say this, stop glorifying conquerors and stop letting people's biases against certain regions or people cloud your intellect

Also if someone gives you critique nicely, take it and analyze it instead of taking it as an insult to your ego

Absurdity of modern pashtun nationalism

I call myself an Afghan

Yet I hate the language which gave me this name ( Dari)

I claim attock and hazara

Yet I hate the hindko language

Those who speak pashto are pashtuns

Oh but the gujjars who speak pashto aren't pashtun

After all pashtun is by blood yet the pashtuns who speak hindko siraiki or Punjabi don't count

Unless of course they're famous

I claim native lands claiming that imperialism has taken away these lands from me

Yet my own land (Afghanistan) is the bastard child of a lost Iranian Qajar state and British imperialism

Im not cruel the Punjabi is cruel

For there are no pashtuns in the army!

Oh my great land

Built on the lands of khorasani tajiks nuristanis hazaras and others

Pashtun is he who is by blood

Yet pashtun who doesn't speak pashto counts not

Unless of course he is famous

Then you claim all the pashtun and pashtunised people

Disliked by pashtunised people hindko speakers farsiwans others am I

Yet always the Punjabi and the Tajik are to blame

How dare they exist ???

For we are the Aryan race!

And they?

Deluded dravidians thinking they have a culture

Pashtun nationalist I am
