Is anyone else dealing with nonstop platform failures and zero real support?

I’m posting this because at this point I honestly need to know if we’re an isolated case or if others are dealing with the same level of dysfunction.

Over the past few months, we’ve had one issue after another, and despite repeated attempts to get help, we still haven’t received clear answers or real accountability.

Here’s what’s been happening:

1. Huge reporting discrepancies

The platform regularly reports significantly more initiated conversations than what we can actually verify.

Some days the numbers are almost accurate.

Other days only around 30–50% of the reported conversations are real.

That makes optimization incredibly difficult because we can’t reliably trust the data we’re being shown.

2. Empty / ghost contacts

We’re getting “initiated conversations” that turn out to be people who never actually sent anything.

Just accidental interactions being counted as legitimate leads.

And when we proactively follow up trying to do our job, some of these users block us, which creates even more issues on our side.

3. Random messaging account restriction

This weekend our business messaging account was suddenly disabled with zero warning.

It stayed blocked for nearly 24 hours.

Then it was restored just as suddenly.

No explanation.

No clarification.

No indication of what triggered it or whether it could happen again.

4. Paid verification features disappeared

After access was restored, paid verification features were still missing.

Again, no explanation.

5. Unresolved payment issue

Months ago, a large payment was made through one of the payment methods provided by the platform.

The payment was completed successfully.

The funds were never properly reflected.

We provided documentation, proof of payment, escalated multiple times, and were repeatedly redirected elsewhere instead of getting an actual resolution.

6. Endless support loop

Phone support redirects to chat.

Chat responses feel generic and scripted.

No one takes ownership.

No one provides technical clarification.

No one follows through.

At this point it genuinely feels like we’re expected to keep spending while troubleshooting critical platform failures ourselves.

Has anyone actually managed to escalate issues like these and get real answers?

Because right now it feels less like using a professional advertising platform and more like being forced to beta test it with real money.

I genuinely don’t understand Meta Ads anymore — what am I missing?

I’m honestly at a point where I feel completely lost with Meta Ads.

Some days it spends way above what I’d expect, other days delivery is inconsistent, performance feels unpredictable, and I can’t seem to find any logic behind what’s happening.

I’ve tested:

  • detailed targeting
  • broad targeting
  • different creatives
  • different budgets
  • manual adjustments
  • leaving campaigns untouched to let them stabilize

And it often feels like none of it makes a consistent difference.

What’s making this harder is that when results drop, the responsibility falls on me as if I’m clearly doing something wrong — but at this point I genuinely don’t know what else to test or optimize.

Has anyone else hit this wall with Meta?

Was there a point where things finally “clicked” for you, or is the platform just this unpredictable now?

Hi !

I’m running message campaigns and I’m noticing a huge discrepancy between what Meta Ads Manager reports and the actual number of conversations/messages we’re receiving.

The numbers shown in Ads Manager are significantly higher than what we can verify in reality, and I can’t figure out why.

I’ve already contacted Meta support, but so far I haven’t gotten any clear explanation.

Has anyone experienced this before?

If anyone has dealt with this or knows what might be happening, I’d really appreciate any insight.
