One of the first things I loved about us, even before we started dating, when we were just friends, was that I could actually talk to him.
Not just the usual "Have you eaten?" or "What did you do today?" conversations, but the kind where one random topic turns into a full on discussion. We can talk about anything, and after 8+ years, that's still one of my favorite things about us.
I honestly think that's one of the reasons our relationship has stayed so strong and sturdy. We genuinely enjoy talking to each other, and he's still the first person I want to tell everything to, big or small.
