Any songs about bittersweet goodbyes, mutual closure, and letting go?

Like a breakup songs because someone had to move away, or the end of a friendship where there’s no bad blood OR

the bittersweet feeling of leaving a place, knowing you’ll probably never go back.

Mine is “Now you hang from my lips like the gardens of Babylon” from Taylor's ‘Cowboy Like Me’.

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon are considered one of the ancient wonders of the world; however, many modern-day archaeologists still debate their existence.

The story of the Hanging Gardens is widely associated with love. It is said that the garden was gifted by the king to his wife, whom he admired so much after she said that she missed the lush, green view of her hometown. Being in the desert, the king then ordered his men to erect a gigantic garden facing the facade of the kingdom.

Taylor uses this as a metaphor in her song about two con artists who loved one another but were too skeptical to commit and confess their love because they were both afraid of getting conned by the other. Instead, they spent the rest of their lives wondering and hanging on to the idea of whether love between them (Babylon) existed.

These past few weeks have felt unbearably heavy. I'm at one of the lowest points I've ever been. I was on my way home from work today but realized I wasn't just walking home..I felt like I had no direction at all.

I was ready to give up.

Then I saw a man spray-painting something on a post (see image posted) and it reminded me of Icarus by The Ridleys.

I wanted to walk up to him and give him a hug or atleast shake his hand, but my emotions got the better of me. I just hope, somehow, he knows that today, he saved someone..
