intense yearning (opm)

I really don't know what to call this or if tama ba yung "intense yearning" or maybe even "longing for intimacy" hahahaha pero maybe you can suggest songs with the same tone, message, bonus if may good guitar solos or any long intrumentals.

Songs that comes to mind are:

One Night Stand by Fourplay MNL

Balewala by BRISOM

Imahe by Magnus Haven

Songs about being jealous over someone you were never with

Just found out the person I like went on a date with one of our coworkers and idk, it hurt way more than I thought it would

I know I have no right to be jealous since we were never together, but damn lol. I guess I just thought I had a chance. Looking for songs with that selos/unrequited love kind of vibe

Metal listeners from an early age, how was it for you and how are you today? lol

I went the usual route of discovering "heavy" music via Linkin Park when I was in Grade school. Then loved the likes of SOAD, Mudvayne, Marilyn Manson, and local gems like Skychurch, Valley of Chrome, Badburn. By highschool I was in too deep jamming to bands like Deicide, Behemoth, Bloodbath, Slayer, Kreator, Vital Remains.

May ilang tropa naman ako na nakakasundo sa rock and OPM, and even some tamer metal bands, but when it comes to my real love at that time, loner ako and had no one to share music with. And it was even worse in my family, as my parents thought I was going in an insane phase that they waited for me to grow out of (spolier alert; I didn't). Odd kid talaga, that I went to gigs alone throughout my teenage years (the only places I felt I belong), and played guitar at home on my own with the unwelcoming ears of my parents as my audience. By college, I had a friend from HS who started listening to metal (more on the metalcore and deathcore bands) it was kinda nice to have someone to connect with, but at that time nag eexplore naman ako ng origins ng metal music and was more into 70s and 80s bands. It's all exploration na from then on.

I think my early exposure to extreme music made me tolerant of different sounds, as today I am literally enjoying any type of music na may real instruments involved. From classical, to jazz, pop, to world music, indigenous sounds, and all sorts of fusion and experimental sound. Metal is still my true love, but it's good to have appreciation of all music now that I am older.

What songs have Christmas-y vibes pero yung lyrics walang kinalaman sa pasko?

Hi guys!

Singing Contest Songs (Female) recos

Hi I will be joining a contest in the next three months. For context, I do join singing contests but this time I want to sing something that is not usually sung or something that I can own baka may recos kayo salamat!!!

My vocal genre is in the range of Lea Salonga-Regine-Sarah G. Decent, clean, not into the pop and r&b pop singing style hehe

What's your most favorite Michelle Branch song?

Actually madami akong gustong mga kanta ni Michelle Branch as I'm such a huge fan.

Hotel Paper just sounds so relaxing and good.

I had her Hotel Paper album on a cassette tape before. :)

it's been 10 years now ...

i haven't listened to Frank for a while now since i kinda outgrew him in a way as i am growing up, and what i listen to kinda changed as well.

listening again to this masterpiece of an album makes me wanna reminisce all the days i confided with this album. listening to Ivy when i fell in love, Nights when i was walking late at night in my hometown, being happy and free listening to Pink + White, thinking about my loved ones when Godspeed plays.

it's crazy how an album can hold so many different versions of urself. Blonde feels like a time capsule for me, not just because of the music itself, but because of the memories and people attached to every song. i may not listen to Frank as much as i used to, but coming back to Blonde after all this time reminds me why it meant so much to me in the first place.

10 years later, Blonde still feels as intimate and personal as ever. happy 10th anniversary to an album that soundtracked so many parts of my life. 🤍

to Frank, i just wish u are living a very happy and contented life rn. wherever u are, i hope life has been kind to u. i'm still hoping for a comeback and if that happens i'll be over the moon.

what are your thoughts and experiences with this album?

Sinong hula niyo na top artist niyo sa Spotify Wrapped 2026?

Malapit na ang ber months and malapit na din ang Spotify Wrapped. Sino kaya sainyo ang top artist. Mine would be Beabadoobee siguro hahahaha
