We are fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Psychology students from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela, currently conducting a quantitative research study entitled:

“Lights, Camera, Cope: Examining Levels of Celebrity Worship as Adaptive and Maladaptive Coping Mechanism Among Filipino Young Adults Residing in Metro Manila.”

Before proceeding with our main data gathering, we are conducting the 𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙚 of our study to establish reference values for the Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) and the Brief COPE Inventory.

We are inviting 𝐏-𝐩𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, whether within or outside Metro Manila, to participate in this phase of our research!

📌 WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

You may participate if you meet the following criteria:

✅ Filipino young adult aged 18–24 years old

✅ Currently residing anywhere in the Philippines

✅ Have at least one active social media account used to follow, view, or interact with P-pop artists or groups

✅ Identify as a fan of at least one P-pop artist or group

✅ Have followed or admired a P-pop artist or group for at least one (1) year

📝 WHAT WILL YOU DO?

If you qualify and agree to participate, you will answer an online questionnaire containing the Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) and the Brief COPE Inventory. Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 10–15 minutes.
